Children of Gaia

Give to every human being, that which you would give to yourself.

Pearl River; Rank 5; Sept of the Hand of Gaia; Thurge; America; A quiet listening Garou who does not make many appearances, either at Caern or moots. She is desperately trying to unite the tribes, before the Apocalypse is on them; she believes unification of tribes will save the world. She is also upset that the plan does not go as planed. She propagates many litters and has many kinfolk lovers to keep her readily pregnant.

Sarah ‘Rasheeda’ Ben-Fasil; Rank 5; No affiliation, but frequents the Sept of the Etesian Wind; Thurge; Egypt and the Middle East; Sarah is a major force in Israeli and Egyptian politics and a trained Guerrilla warfare fighter. She is famed for discovering the location of a Vampire called ‘Malkav’ who slumbers near Jerusalem. His energies cause the mental disorder ‘Jerusalem Syndrome’ in which claims madness in hundreds of travellers each year. She is working for a cure to his broadcasted lunacy and talks of making a raid to destroy this creature of the Wyrm.

Jonathan Mistray; Rank 5; Sept of the Legion; Thurge; An immensely popular Garou and a clever strategist. Guaranteed to be with company at Moots and a close friend of Gordon Newell. He is not liked by Garou from Manchester, who consider him a traitor for leaving, and is now the only survivor of the original deserting pack. He is immensely powerful in the Umbra, and is one of the Great Theurges of the Modern days.

Pearl River; Rank 4; Sept of the Hand of Gaia; Ahroun; America; The man who ensures that Pearl Rivers orders are followed and many consider him the true leader of the Children of Gaia tribe as he is by far the most visible of the order givers. He is eager and interesting and has a celebrity status at Moots.  He remains many connections with all the tribes and is a ‘adopted’ native American Garou with the Uktena.

Dan Osbaldston; Rank 4; Sept of the Legion; Philodox; Together with Henry Adams, these two make the most poor representatives of their tribe. Dan can be devious, calculating and downright aggressive. He looks and acts more like a Shadow Lord, and the rumour still persists at Moots that he is, in fact one. Yet his love of Closed Septs and peaceful life make sure he remains in the Children of Gaia’s camp. He is a local specialist, and very loyal to his Sept, he will be there till his last days. Often does weapon prowess displays at Moots and gatherings.

Marianna Barclay; Rank 3; Sept of the Glade; Galliard; One time leader of the Sept of the Glade, she is both worldly and wise, and for her age, still attractive. An effective courtesan, and a popular visitor at Moots, people have learned to respect her, as she has a devious and holds a dark side. She maintains good relations with Caerleon (the only one at this Caern to do so), and is one of the founding packs of Children of Gaia who took the Caern from the power of Sept of the Tower. As a result many Glass walkers have a special hatred for her. Marianna is said to be injured, but well at the Sept of Sherwood.

Rob Mitchell; Rank 3; Sept of the Glade; Thurge; Rob is an endearing big bloke with not a nasty bone in his body, he enjoys his luxuries in life to the point of it effecting the rest of his life. He is hopeless as a Garou, but has very human qualities that the Children of Gaia warm too, providing he does not turn up late. Rob is still missing after the Fall of Manchester.

Jane Manson; Rank 3; Sept of the Glade; Galliard; The French Femtele, beautiful and elegant but for the scar upon her face. Jane although in attendance at moots, observes from the shadows, saying something only when it is worth bringing attention to. Her friends though say she is a different person to the one she shows. She always brings a crowd at Moots with her song and dance, and an acute memory for the fine details. She is still unaccounted for. It is hoped, but expected she did not die in the Fall of Manchester.

Freddie McDowell; Rank 3; Sept of the Glade; Philodox; Lupus?; Egypt?, Freddie is a strange one, either a intelligent modernised Lupus, or a deranged Human, no one is sure. He gains little respect though as either, and certainly not as a Philodox. He was dearly missed at Manchester when he disappeared in Egypt, with reports saying he was dead. There have been some rumours of late though from Silent Striders that he is fighting with Ratkin in their Home Land. The truth remains to be seen.

Alex Saunders; Rank 3; Sept of the Glade; Philodox, A well educated philosopher who is sought after by many Stargazers at Moots. He has a strong education, but gets bullied by the Get, Shadow Lords and the Talons. He is popular among the other tribe’s elders though. His excessive thinking made him start to be compulsive in his weed smoking, which needed to be checked, however it is assumed he died in the fall of Manchester. There have been no accounts of him since.

Jo Centre; Rank 3; Sept of the Glade; Galliard; Another of the French Garou that held many connections for the Sept of the Glade, although the last to join, she is by far the most popular both at Moots and at the Sept. She also holds many Spirit allies (including even Fenris), and was a good negotiator with the Get-of-Fenris. The Fenris lit a candle for her when the Caern fell, but since she has been recovered in Nottingham.

Henry Adams; Rank 3; Sept of the Legion; Ahroun; A heavily scarred who has slain many Gurahl in his younger days as a Get-of-Fenris, and still remains an unlikely Children of Gaia. He is not too bright but jovial enough to get into the social circles of a moot, although he tries to avoid Get from his past days. Henry is also a compulsive gambler, and frequents a wrestling club.

Patricia Malone; Rank 3; Sept of the Glade; Ragabash; A look alike for Sophie Ellis Baxter, and a serious Ragabash, that maintains friendships only with her pack mates, and Sept members. This has always made her less than accessible at Moots. She can also be racist and rude, and then apologises, then continues being insulting. She has recently lost much honour for not attempting to breed with kinfolk. She has also failed to raise rank twice now. Patricia is still missing and some already count her among the dead from the Fall of Manchester.

Diane Royal; Rank 3; Sept of the Glade; Philodox; A Black Fury who fell in love and changed her ways, and her tribe as a result. Her old persona can still manifest from time to time, especially when the Get or Fenris followers are about. She spends much time with Alex Saunders and while she makes an effort at Moots, she is not that popular. She has special hatred’s for John Constantine and Freddie McDowell, both who ridicule her about her past.

‘Leanne’; Rank 3; Sept of the Giant’s Chair; Philodox; A failed Sept of the Legion, she maintained her people’s love for closed Septs, and managed to be recruited when on holiday near Oban. Popular with Kinfolk of both sexes as she accepts many lovers, she is rumoured to break the Litany one to many times. At the last Moot, she was nearly killed by a Silver Fang and had a Stone of Scorn pot on her for her actions. She is unhappy and looking for a new Caern, although this is likely to get her killed in Oban.

‘Exalted-of-Gaia’; Rank 3;Caern of the Healing Dawn; Ahroun; Egypt; Metis; A Metis with no visible deformity, but an extreme allergy to silver who caused such a stir when he rose to the rank of Gatekeeper at The Caern of the Healing Dawn, a low rank and a Metis!!! He is greatly disliked by many Garou at Moots, he has a Garou name and a Caern post which he did not actually earn. They believe he should stand down, and his failure to do so is causing problems with other Caerns in Egypt who believe the Healing Dawn is not being run properly.

‘Weasel’; Rank 2; Sept of the Legion; Ragabash; Metis; Weasel is the Pug’s only friend, they both came to the Sept and have been adopted by the Children of Gaia (there original Tribes are unknown). Weasel is a funny and charismatic Garou, who is trying to make up for a disgraced past. Not apparent at Moots as he rarely will leave Caerleon, but he makes interesting chatter for those visiting his Caern. He has a rat-tail in all his forms.

‘Pug’; Rank 2; Sept of the Legion; Ahroun; Metis; Pug never leaves the Caern, he is repulsively ugly. He spends a lot of time in the Umbra on Caern guard duty. He is a solitary individual who prefers to be left alone, although he has a hazy friendship with Weasel. The rest of the Garou world does not really know him, though they have heard of a few of his deeds. Although at the Grand Moot (2003) he was not apparent, avoiding the group. He was put forward though to join one of the Salt Packs, and only his pack mates, and his Caern know if he accepted.

‘Shaggy’; Rank 1; Sept of the Legion; Thurge; Real name Mark Beston, and he is a disgrace of a Garou. He is skinny, weak, lazy and a coward. He is being retrained under Gordon Newell.  He gets his name by the dog like appearance of his Lupus form; it looks similar to a brown Great Dane and gets the nickname ‘Scooby’ in that form. Gordon is determined to break him.

Elaine Pass; Rank 1; Sept of the Legion; Galliard; A oval faced Welsh Nationalist Garou, who was fondly thought of at the last Moot, she has just got her Rite of Passage and settled at Caerleon. Although she is doing well, she dislikes the way Gordon does things, and has come to some strong words with him. She is still a strong Christian and a good friend of Father Wimbish who is her mentor. She does and will visit Caern of the Lost Pups quite regularly.

‘Malcor’; Pup; No Affiliation yet; Galliard; Lupus; Better known as the Garou ‘Claws to Claws’ (Rank 3; Sept of the Running Wolf; Ahroun), a Red Talon who has changed tribes. He has undergone a Rite of Renunciation and changed both Tribes and Auspice. He has agreed to change his ways and now is undergoing a Rite of Passage. He forms the only certain Lupus Garou that the Children of Gaia have in Great Britain, so he is well looked after. He refuses to talk about his past life but remains a source of great power and strength.

Trevor Best; Pup; No Affiliation yet; Ahroun; A pup that was luckily saved from the Fall of Manchester, he now resides at Caerleon to do his Rite of Passage. Trevor is unknown so far, and only a few Garou have had the pleasure of meeting him. At time of writing, he is enjoying his 18th hour as a Pup.
