Caern of The Castle

Lord Gilliatt: Shadow Lord, Ahroun, Rank 5, 5ft 9’ tall, 41 years old. An old and worldly respected Shadow Lord. The Lord owns much of the area of Colchester including the Castle itself. He is far beyond any challenge from within the Caern. He is a bit difficult to approach thinking himself too good to mingle with the ‘riffraff’. He was responsible for the re-catching of St. Albans and of the destroying of the bane Crawlus Nex at Colchester zoo. He is of average height, neat brown hair and always wears expensive suits, rarely the same one twice. He always keeps his Grand Glaive ‘Sheilak’ with him.

Matthew Rushton (Matt): Fianna, Ahroun, Rank 4, 5ft 8’ tall, 26 years old, A round faced annoying ginger bloke, with a chip on his shoulder about being ginger. He has a short fuse and a nasty streak, and is the leading part of the Fianna tribe here. There is no fear of a challenge to Lord Gilliatt as Matt lacks the real killing power the Lord wields. He knows his situation is delicate and despite his rage can play the courtier game. He wears second hand shirts and trousers, and only pays out for a small selection of ties. In court he appears with his make shift suit, at rest he wears slacks and loose tops. He loves his ale, which makes him more violent.

Mr Saunders (Alex): Shadow Lord, Theurge, Rank 4, 5ft 10’ tall, 24 years old. A troubled individual, who spent his early life as a male model for a national magazine. He is presently suffering from Harano, and shows no sign of recovering, but, for now, continues his role as Theurge while he is able. He is never far from his watcher staff that is as depressing as him (rumour is he has a lemming spirit inside), and he often pines over the great secrets of the Umbra and sits smoking weed. He is commonly unshaven, with jet-black hair, smartly dressed with tie, and rarely smiles.

Mr Brown (James): Shadow Lord, Galliard, Rank 3, 5ft 9’ tall, 29 Years old. A good friend to Mr Saunders and more approachable. Mr Brown is often used to determine whether a person is telling the truth and has appropriate gifts and skills to find out. He sings many of the stories of the great house of the Caern of the Castle, and is the chief record keeper for the site. At heart though he seems a nice but manipulative guy, his kinfolk partner is often seen with him. Mr Brown wears suits and multi-coloured ties, although away from the site he does dress casual. 

Ms Barclay (Jo-Jo, Joanne): Shadow Lord, Galliard, Rank 3, 6ft tall, 29 Years old, Tall and blonde and pretty and, rumour has it, Marianna Barclay’s sister. She certainly looks like her sister, although she is far more cunning and manipulative. Ms Barclay will only turn on her charm when there is a clear reason to do so. She dresses in smart business skirts, and always carries a silver loaded firearm, drives a Ferrari and often wears sun glasses.

‘Calico’: Fianna, Ragabash, Rank 4, 6ft tall, 35 years old, St. Albans Cormac’s step brother, Calico never wanted to join the Caern of the lost pups, staying with the capable Shadow Lords. He admits he was right too - he is still alive. Ginger hair and freckles, often wearing green he is the Septs joker and main spy. Like Cormac his stealth skills are second to none. He also has many unsavoury contacts.

Mr Kingsley (Aaron): Shadow Lord, Ahroun, Rank 3, 5ft 11’ tall, 23 Years old. Shaved head, staring eyes, and a poor complexion help make this man a thoroughly unpleasant man, often called in to ‘clean up any messes’. He never smiles and is a cold-blooded killer of all. He normally is equipped for assassinations and cleaning operations with a chemical kit. Again dressing smart, but with a dirty attitude and foul mouth to match.

Ms Walker (Lisa): Shadow Lord, Philodox, Rank 3, 5ft 9’ tall, 29 Years old. A fat, dark Latin looking girl. She is quick with her answers but finds it difficult to hide her emotions. She is currently suffering from Harano, with little hope of a cure Spending time on her own she finds preferable unless on pack duty. She wears smart clothing that is a little small for her girth.

Ms Sutton (Penny): Shadow Lord, Ahroun, Rank 3, Metis, 5ft 11’ tall, 34 Years old. A big woman, slow of wits and a bit down-syndrome (deformity). She is often the butt of many a joke, but eeks out her existence at the Caern. She is too valuable to waste and sometimes has her uses. Penny wears old fashions and mis-matched clothes, fitting to no fashions but still smart.

Ms Black (Ben): Shadow Lord, Theurge, Rank 1, 5ft 11’ tall, 20 Years old. The trainee Theurge, Ben Black is a thin faced handsome youth. He wears Black suits with a white shirt and black tie, giving him his name sake. Always hungry for information he is becoming an adept at the Caern, but he still hangs on to his human fads. He is a compulsive defacer, practicing spray paint vandalism, although artful and skilled it is a compulsive behaviour he has no intention of losing.

The Caern:
