Black fury

In childhood, a woman must be subjected to her father, in youth, to her husband, when her husband is dead, to her sons. A woman must never be free of subjugation.

Volcheka Ibarruri; Rank 6; Unknown Caern; Galliard, Alaska, A mysterious and legendary Garou, no one has said to have met her. She is said to have been born Spanish but now operates alone in Alaska, taking up a personal war against the wolf hunters there.  Her totem is said to be Wendigo, and whether she is real or not, the wolf hunting trade is in decline in Alaska.

‘Hepecarter’; Rank 5; Caern of Past Days; Ahroun, The aging leader of the Black Fury hidden Caern and a German noble. Her real name is unknown. She is a ‘Sister of Gorgon’, but she calls the camp ‘The Curse of Adam’ and is the leader of the Faction for England.

Jassel ‘Voice-of-the-Sands’; Rank 5; Sept of the Healing Dawn; Philodox, Egypt, Normally always veiled, and often in Egyptian dress, she is one of the few elders that is still in an active pack. She does not demand or court respect and is quite a humble Black Fury. She is well liked among Children of Gaia and the Fianna.

Alani Astarte; Rank 5; Caern of the Hand of Gaia; Galliard, New York, A very old tough-as-boots governess, that helped protect the women’s rights movement and has made significant work to uncover the work of the Defiler Wyrm. She is looking for a successor to take her place as the Caern Leader.

‘Monitor’; Rank 5; Caern of Past Days; Theurge, A young and beautiful lady, also known as ‘Zarazonia’ to some other Caerns. She is dark haired and extremely beautiful, she is also single and able to use these facts to get what she wants. She opposes the ‘Curse of Adam’ ideals and wants tolerance for both men and women. Her Camp is the ‘New Age’ faction. She has always shown fondness to Glass Walkers, especially Space-on-Disk.

Julisha of the Thousand Masks; Rank 4; Unknown Caern; Ragabash, Africa, An African Garou legend, her pranks are known the world over, they say she has a special gift that allows her to change her shape into anything that she desires. Her calling card is a miniature Zulu war mask. She is said to have slept with Robert Allred himself....as his pillow.

‘Livila’; Rank 4; Caern of Past Days; Ahroun, A Militant and strict Fury who is clearly in her late 50’s. She is not as strong as she once was, but is a cunning and sly crone. She is rumoured to have had a hand in some high profile assassinations. She is part of the ‘Curse of Adam’ camp.

Kula ‘Wiseblood’; Rank 4; Caern of the Hand of Gaia; Ahroun, New York, A stoic warrior who has made a name for herself, she is a legend amongst the tribe, able to sniff the Wyrm out with ease, she has become diabolically effective at rooting out and destroying vampires. Kula hopes to take Alani’s place soon.

Liz Torbet; Rank 4; Sept of the Etesian Wind; Galliard; Egypt, Another cool and calculating Fury, who loyal follows her Totem ‘Chameleon’, she is nearly 50 and is beginning to wonder if she become established in a Fury Caern. Egypt is taking the toll, and she wants a quieter life than a war zone.

Mari Cabrah; Rank 4; Caern of the Hand of Gaia; Ahroun, Mari has a sharp tongue and sharper claws. She was abused as a teenager and now spends her time protecting the people on the streets. She has a special fondness for kids and a special hatred for predators.

Sister Judith Paws-of-Light; Rank 4; Unknown Caern; Galliard, Metis, Middle-East, Still unsure if she is a myth or a real person, the Order of the Merciful Mother keeps quiet about this famous Garou. She is rumored to be working in Kuwait and Bosnia working to put an end to racial cleansing. Some say she can banish banes with but a command.

‘Vankelan’; Rank 3; Caern of Past Days; Theurge, Lupus, A militant X-red talon that has been adopted as a Fury. She cares nothing for the Camp system, the politics bore her, and is a loose cannon. Her feral blood makes her valuable and the others more tolerant to her behaviour.

Althea Baneslayer; Rank 3; No Set Caern; Theurge; Deep Umbra, A great Fury who often comes in great times of need. She spends most of the time in the umbra, and she is often an eyebrow raiser when attending moots. She has not aged in the last 10 years.

‘Jolene’; Rank 3; Caern of Past Days; Philodox, A cold unsmiling woman who certainly has an unsettling presence. She is a good peacekeeper nut no one goes out of the way to speak to her at moots. She can play the violin quite well. She is a member of the ‘New Age’ faction.

Jenny Cork; Rank 3; Sept of the Glade; Ahroun, A beautiful Asian looking lady who does much to uphold the Fury name. She is clever and a great warrior, although many shun her saying at a Children of Gaia Caern. Still she is a favourite at moots between Garou and kinfolk.

Nina W. Vale; Rank 3; Sept of the Lost Pups; Ahroun, Beautiful, strong, but one not to hide her feelings and will often say exactly what she is thinking. She is a strong contender for the Caern of the Lost Pups. She is showing favouritism to the ‘Curse of Adam’ camp, much to the displeasure to many of her friends.

Sarah Pickup; Rank 3; Sept of Sherwood; Galliard, A sad and unwilling Fury, her husband was lulled by an enticer to the Wyrm, she was with the pack that took him down. More than her husband died that night. She has not selected another mate, much to the disappointment of the elders, and has shown signs of deep depressions.

Hailey Woodcraft; Rank 2; Caern of the Camper’s Tent; Ragabash, Giggly, immature and part of the Caern’s active pack. Elders agree she has much to learn still and have even withheld her gifts and rites of Accomplishment until she matures more.

Summer (Just) Fairbrook; Rank 1; Not affiliated; Galliard, Summer is a strong headed pretty blonde, young but a capable fighter, though she has not found her role within her auspice yet. She is actively looking for a new Caern home.

Andromeda ; Pup; Not affiliated; Ahroun, A young Ahroun still undergoing her rite of passage. She has already taken her adopted ‘Last Days’ name as her own. She supports the ‘Curse of Adam’ camp, and is hoping to become a member of the Caern of the Last Days, although it greatly depends on the ruling camp and the political situation more than her.
