Andrew "Jersey Devil" Fischer (PL 10): Contrary to
common perception that he hails from New Jersey, Andrew grew up in
Philadelphia. An African American boy, he grew up in a ghetto in
Philly where, while he ran with a gang in his early teenage years, he has
always had an affinity for reading, and aspired to be a writer.
Those plans changed when, at age 16, he underwent a radical and
excruciatingly painful transformation. His body had changed to that
of a short, furry beast with bat-like wings, wicked claws, cloven-hoofed
feet and a long thin tail. The emergence of elites in the world was
a relatively new phenomenon, so most people reacted with horror in response
to Andrew's new form. Persecuted by strangers as well as those he
once knew as friends, he began to lash out, nearly killing a member of the
gang he once ran with. Things may have turned out badly for Andrew
had he not received a visit from an elite that was gaining popularity throughout
the world: Paragon. During a visit to the US, Paragon met with
Andrew, and asked the boy if he would join him in a televised speech he
was giving. Paragon used Andrew as an example for those that would
persecute elites based on how they looked. Andrew soon became quite
famous, getting roles in a few more-or-less forgettable horror and fantasy
movies before he eventually was asked to join the new American Freedom
team in 2011. He has become a very popular member, especially with
the younger crowd, but many people still feel some unease when around him
in person. His autobiography, "The Devil Inside," is due
for release early next year. |
