Rules of Engagement

The Rules of Engagement within Buccaneers and Pirates are based on the AR-DR system. This is for members who attain rank and duel aginst one another to mob combat. The Rules of Sea Battles are followed and this pertains to ship combat at Sea. Ship combat is different, with dice dice value.


AR-DR Combat


Ship Combat Each ship allowed to have so many cannons per ship. this is always split in two to divide to each side. so a 20 cannon sloop would have 10 cannons per side.,br> Only the Captain can engage in combat on a ship. The Captain is the one that actually rolls the dice for combat.

The ranks of cannons are as followed:

  • Small cannons 1d30
  • Medium Cannons 1d40
  • Large Cannons 1d50

    Note 1: Range is not given due to online limits

    Note 2: In order to damage a ship the dice roll must be higher then the Armor rating. Only way for damage to be inflicted on larger ships is by Captain Skills or by MO's

    Note 3: Once half the Hull points are gone Captain skills no longer applies.
