This is just alittle page to tell about Syl's horse. This is her SECOND horse. The history of the first one is known to her only and you should feel most fortunate if she tells you.
Obsidian is a Gypsy Vanner horse, he is male. This is basically what he looks like...this is a pic of his left side.
Now, about these pics. I found them and had to have them. If you look, you can see that the patches look like a phoenix. This is what the left side of the Obsidian looks like (black and white though.)
The top part of his hair is like this, the style I mean...not the flowers. This is only the first 1/4 of his hair, the rest hangs and flows losely. The only part of his mane that is not like this, is the lone white patch located at the bottom. There are beads and charms also "braided" into his main where it is decorated like this.
This bit and briddle sometimes used for him. Other times she rides and just uses the small bit of his main to hold to. This was given to her by the way, by a stablesman who used it to pay her for working for him. Since she offered and wanted no money in return.
Last but not least..this. Sylvie has never had a saddle for Obsidian, she doesn't really see the need. This is a heavy but light najavo -style- blanket that is the only thing remotely related to being used as a "saddle"
