DRAGON WARRIOR ONE ONLINE
This is the site to my BYOND Game, Dragon Warrior One Online, a remake of the original Dragon Warrior game, except multiple players can join the world at once, thus making it an online game!
The basic versions will have the usual stat panels and verb panels, but you will later have to go to the status screen like in the real game and go to a special menu category to chat, or you can type in the verb, like type in "worldsay" or "wsay" or "ws" to chat in world say mode.
I plan to have the map be exact to the tile, unless I plan on making a bonus world for the level thirty heroes who have slain the dragonlord and restored peace to the land. I will also make it so you cannot pass bridges unless you are s certain level, because on many BYOND Games, people will sit and beg and beg and say "gimme [inset item here]." That I can live with, but not when the people give the item to them and we have level 15 people killing the dragonlord. That's just wrong.
There are a few things I may need help on. I know exactly what to do to get everything done, just I need to know how to do it. Examples:
--Torch Illumination (done with covering the screen in HUD menu thingamabobbers
--Swamp (I lied. help me out here.)
--HUD in gerneral (for the talking and stuff)
--Anything else I think of. (Done by meditation. don't help me with this. really.)
Seriously look at what's in the parenthasees on that last one. The one thing I hatemore than complaints is people asking if they can help. I respond with "how?" and they say "I can help with coding." They don't want to help. They want GM powers. I ust give then the standard level 2 GM powers which, if you have played before and aren't just reading this, you know what those are. If you really, seriously have played thorugh DW1 carefully and see something that may be hard for me to do, ask if I need help with it. DO NOT just say "can I help with the game?" that is not what I'm looking for. Look for a solution to something above or to another difficult problem, such as how to make the dude dissappear after giving him the stones of sunlight and the Staff of Rain. I know that's basic, so I left it out of the top so I don't look dumb. I do need help on that, though. If you CAN help on SOMETHING YOU HAVE IN MIND, then tell me and if your problem is a problem and your solution you thought about rather than your reward proves good, I'll rate it on a scale of 1 to something and add 2 to it and give you that GM level, such as 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 or 7. I think 8 will be the master GM level, though. That's mine. and levels 1 and 2 aren't real GM rankings, they're just fun...for me to give out. Not so much to the poor soul who thought he could ban and boot at the touch of a button. doesn't work that way.
