This is realistic RPG so no blushing, crying, holding hands, etc. Talking is not allowed. This also means no wings, horns, magical powers, or anything mythical.talking here is considered:Yips"good-bye sparky, ill miss you....."A BIG NO-NO!!this would be the right,Rp way:) "He crys a sad yip, wishing her good-bye.He would miss Sparky so much......"YAY!!id love it if you guyz did that!!:):):):)
ok,my sister ran with a very stupid fight in another rpg, and, since it pisses everyone off,ill say the scenario: ok,a male wolf asks a female to join his pack, and she accepts.another male, playing"romeo" says that he loves her,and would die without her, etc. so he challenges for her,ad wins.the female wolfs first alpha tries to win her back, but he keeps getting injured, about 3-5 times IN A ROW,while the wolf who stole her in the first place gets out without a scratch, and wins.meanwhile, this wolf loves the one who won her.then the rumors spread and everyone makes life hell for the wolf that had his mate stolen...NO.NO i will NOT allow such EVIL to happen.a male wolf CANNOT challenge the other wolf for ay of his wolves that have the following positions: Alph, beta, and gamma.i might add more.ill give an example of that one wolfs post:
Hello ******. My heart is hardened. I love this place so and it grew in me, a part of me. I wish i had not to leave. But since I stall have to, I am, yet unwillingly. You are not weak and unprotecting. You are strong and daring! I only wish, this once, (she knows she should not wish it, but does) that i was able to stay here, forever. I miss you dearly! After being here, the other tt seems to dull compared to the wonderful light you give yours. I hope you still love me and one day. sometime son, bring me Home. This is where i fee the most welcomed and wherei feel the most loved and where feel is my home. One day, I hope that time is soon. And that i will come home. But i will no come here if u do not feel u want me here. But i hope you do want me here! I miss you dearly and will ait for my time of retrn. I only hope ****** understands. I feel that this pack is where i belong! I love you and shall wait. *the femme wolf walks off. But hopes ***** will say something to her before she leaves.*
just to let ya know,i will friggin ban you if i see that^ shit on my boards!
There are no 'good' or 'evil' wolves. Like in natural, wolves here are neutral. Some are nicer, some are more agressive, but none are completely evil or completely good.
I will allow some cursing, but dont abuse this rule.Do not curse ecsesivly either,it isnt needed. And please keep it acceptable, which means do not use it to insult other players needlessly.(Acceptable: The wolf growled, mentally damning his bad luck. Unacceptable: She entered the forest, sneering at the other pathetic beasts here, wishing they might all rot in hell.). If you are unsure whether you may say something, please feel free to ask the owner about it.
All joining wolves must be age 2 or over, and please, no orphan pups, pregnant females, or females that already have pups,if they do join,Moonlight Hunter will kill the pups.......hey,they aren't his!!
Lone wolves cannot claim territories, only mated pairs can.
This is only a game, do not take things personally.
If you have a problem with another player, take it to me or take it off my game.
If you are going to be gone for 3 or more days, please post at the away board.
This is an RPG for the more intermediate and advanced players, so please be descriptive, use complete sentences and punctuation, and proper spelling. A few mistakes are understandable, but every other word is not. Also, try to use the proper lingo.
Please note that I am not going to include any wolf 'breeds', i.e. Artic, Timber, etc. Wolves do not know the difference so it does not matter. You may be any color found in wolves with any markings you desire.
There is no claiming in this game. Wolves do not force other wolves to join their pack. However, the great majority of wolves are in packs, so please keep lone wolves to a minimum. If the game starts to have too many lone wolves in it, I will make it manditory to join a pack within 1 week of joining.
You may not play both the male and female Alpha of the pack. If I see that the Alphas have the same IP number, their claim will be erased. If they try to claim again, their IP will be banned from the territories until they have a mate that is played by someone else. The point of the game is not to own a territory or to breed. It is to roleplay and have fun.
Also, there is no limit to the gender of wolves in a pack. You may have as many males and as many females as will join you. So Alpha males, do not invite just females please. It is good to have at least 1 or 2 other males in the pack as well.
Please vary your personalities and try to stay away from the sterotype of wolves. They are not large, vicious, evil killers so please do not have many characters like that. Wolves have many types of personalities, just like people so please try to keep your characters original.
You may not leave a pack without reason as wolves are very social animals and dislike being alone. You may leave with good reason, but not for silly ones, like the Alpha male will not let you breed, etc.
some things to remember when joining a pack:
Do not enter the territory of another pack. If you do this, the entire pack will attack you to drive you out; this can result in death if you refuse to leave. You can enter if you have won a challenge or are invited there by an Alpha for whatever reason. If you wish to join, you need to stay on the border-line.
BE ACTIVE!!IF YOU DO NOT POST AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK,YUR CHARACTER WILL BE DELETED,AND DONT BE ALL MAD,BECAUSE YOU DIDNT FOLLOW THE RULES!!I WILL BE HAVEING ACTIVE CHECKS!!ALPHAS,YOU MUST POST AT LEAST 3x A WEEK!!
Males may not claim a territory unless they have at least one female with them. Even if they have another male as a packmate, they cannot have a territory until one of them has a mate.
There are several positions for males in each pack: Alpha, Beta, and Omega are the most common, though there are others, such as hunters,wathcers,gaurds,etc.......
There may be more than one male wolf per pack, in fact that is both common and encouraged.
Male pups may leave the pack at one year, though they do not have to. However, if they stay with their birth-pack it is unlikely that they will be allowed to breed.
Males do enjoy and show affection to pups. In fact, wolves are know to be very gentle and loving to all puppies, where they are their own or not.
Male wolves may adopt pups that have lost their parents if they are old enough to eat meat. Also, there is no killing or harming of pups, though they may be abandon if they are sick or ill, though even that is uncommon.
Females may not claim territories alone; they must have a mate.
All females go into heat during Spring and Fall. However, not all will breed. Only the Alpha female of a pack will breed, no other females in the pack may. Females without a pack are not permitted to breed at all. There can be no more then 1 litter per Lupus year in a pack. This is the way it is in nature and it will also keep the game from having too many pups.
Females choose which pack they join, but they must be invited first by one of the Alphas. However keep in mind that lone female wolves are extremely rare.
If a male challenges for and wins a female, she must go with him the same day.
Pups may leave their birth-pack when they are 1 year old or older. They do not have to, but most do. If you choose to stay in your birth-pack, you will not be allowed to breed since this would cause inbreeding in the pack.
Pups do not wander in the territories of other packs as this can be dangerous and cause fights between packs.
When a pup leaves a pack, it may wander as a lone wolf for a time or go to [ m e e t i n g ], where other packs can invite them to join.
if you wish to join a pack, you must show submission,or the pack can kill you if they feel like it.The alpha pretty much decides everything.
The number of wolves in a pack is limited to 10. If we get enough members and this becomes a problem the number may change later in the game.
There are several positions in each pack. The most important and well-known on Alpha, Beta, and Omega. There is a male and female Alpha and Beta. Usually there is only one Omega. There are other positions in the pack, but these are the most solid ones. To learn more, read the Information page.
It is common for wolves to try to move up in rank, however this is rarely by challenge but more of testing of limits. To learn more, please read the Information Page.
Packs are social, affectioniate animals, so keep in mind that packs are often very close to each other. So no wolves in packs that hate everyone, etc.
Packs most often hunt together, though individuals can hunt alone for smaller game. To hunt larger prey, a pack must work together and go to the hunting board.
heres the first set,i would love it if you did this,it shows more creativity, and this one shoes better skills.
or,you could do this:
Wolves usually mate for life, which means that most of the time the Alpha male will only breed the Alpha female. The Alpha female may only mate with the Alpha male. And other wolves in the pack may mate, but only under the Alpha males permission!! if you do not get permission, and you breed anyway, the alpha can kill the pups and kick you out of the pack.obviously, its a very serious ofense.hey, its how it is in RL.
There is no force-breeding. A female wolf has a nasty set of teeth and would use them if a male tried it. However, a male may ask and hint at the right seasons.
Packs are only allowed up to 1 litter a year. A female may only have 1 litter each year and only if she is the Alpha. Also, it is rarer to breed in Fall because Winter is very hard on pups.
Females may only breed when they are in season. The Alpha female may choose whether she wishes to have her pups in Spring or in Fall, but Spring is the most common time.
Long-breeding is allowed, but if you must, please keep it inside the posts and do not take it too far. I do not mind detail but please remember to be realistic. If you would not see it on a Nature show, it is not allowed here.Oh yes, most people dont like it/dont bother with it,your stats is all thats needed.oh,and,im saying again, nothing not natural ok?we DO have younger kids on this sight, and please only follow the guidlines of REALITY.
we are not responsible if you read a long-breeding post.
When the litter is born, the owner will decide the stats and number of pups by dice roll. This will be explained in greater detail on the breeding page.
Wolves may breed at age 2 or older.
Problems will happen before and after birth, i.e. miscarriage, false pregnancy, stillborn, deformaties, etc. However, I will keep they fairly rare and give warning signs, such as if the female has been sick or stressed, she will show signs of impending miscarriage so that it might be prevented.
You may hunt wherever you want, just not in anoter packs teritiory.
be realistic, the biggest ANY wolf can bring down is a beaver or hare.
Alphas dont always have to lead hunts once the pack gets big-enough,Well-TRUSTED wolves are s usually given the oppurtunaty to lead hunts.
If there are pups, you must carry food home, and i must see a post about you bringing meat back, feeding pups,etc....
be realistic,a animal wont die once you pounce on it!!Be detailed,i will also flip a cion.the first heads means you sucessfully pounce,if the hunters get hurt,etc...
Challenges can be made in two ways. Either RPG battle or dice. For more detail on challenging, read the challenging page.
You must have a reason for challenging, not just for fun or because you do not like the wolf, etc. The only challenging that does not need a reason, is within the pack for rank since that is very common in the wild. So unless you are fighting within your own pack, a reason must be given that is reason. The owner may dismiss a challenge that is silly or highly unrealistic.
In an RPG battle, you are limited to five posts only. No power-playing of any kind is allowed.
Posts in an RPG battle are presented in this fashion. The first post is either giving or accepting a challenge. The next three are actual fighting. The last post is for backing down. No attacking of any type in the final post is allowed.
The owner will judge who wins, except in cases involving my own characters, and how long the fighters must wait to challenge again, due to injuries, etc.
You may challenge as often as you like, proved your character is not injured from the last challenge, i.e. if it has been 3 days since your last challenge and I said your injuries set you back 5 days of rest, you cannot challenge.
Males may only challenge males and females may only challenge females. A male will not fight a female wolf, if a female attacks him he will back down to avoid hurting her. This is done in the wild because a female produces pups, making her a more important since she may have several litters in her lifetime and any male can sire them. A male may assert dominance and threaten a female, but he will not attack or harm one under most circumstances. There are expections but they are very rare.
The wolf that is being challenged must reply to the challenger withen 2 days. If they do not, the challenger automatically wins.
A year in DF is equal to 2 months in real life; meaning each season lasts 2 weeks. Wolves may live to be 18 before they have to die.
It is encouraged, but not required to read the Information page.[COMING SOON!J]
Please do not claim to have your character be a god or a demon, or the child of one. I will allow references, but not actual claiming to be one. (Acceptable: He was named after a demon and rival one in fury when angered. Unacceptable: Fallen from heaven above, she was beautiful without compare, daughter of the goddess herself and far above any mortal beast.)
Please remember, there are no evil or good wolves, only neutral, just like in nature.
When you join, please type "mghjsjyj182" as the password. Please remember to re-read the rules often as the password will change randomly. Thank you.
