Be sure to tell me what race, gender, and type of magic (if you are a wizard), and any other information associated with your character (history, relationships, appearance, etc) that you want noted on the character list. Any relationships must be approved by the other character.
Here's a few things on character generation-
Elf, Man (human), Hobbit (Halfling),Wizard, Dwarf, or a servant of Sauron. Any of which can be male or female. Sauron is the big daddy of the evil forces, and his servants can be any of the above races, but saying that you are a servant shows that you are evil. If you are evil, you must specify that, or you will be shown as good on the character list.
Elves are very agile and quiet, and specialize in bow/arrows when in combat, and use short swords or daggers when needed. Doesnt wear any armor, and feels at home in woodland areas, but not in large cities.
Men are a jack of all trades, but a master of none. Most are sociable, and they tend to use the sword/shield when in combat. Wears light to heavy armor. Likes to be in cities, and can feel uncomfortable in unknown land.
Hobbits are short, very human-like, and do not wear shoes, because their feet are very hairy, which is good enough to withstand the elements. They can walk/run with little or no sound to be heard. They don't wear armor, with the exception of Frodo. They use short swords when in combat, and like taverns and gossip.
Wizards are very knowledgeable, but somewhat weak in physical combat. They wear no armor, and use their magic when possible, and usually have staves(staffs) or daggers if melee combat is unavoidable.
Dwarves are short, somewhat fat people with a lot of facial hair. They love cities, especially if they can get some good ale and a group of others to chat with. They usually wear heavier armor, and use the axe when in combat.
Fire- Has a limited control over fire, and can withstand very high temperatures with little or no damage. Can create small/medium sized fireballs to throw, which is the most common usage of this type of magic. Weak agaisnt water, strong against nature.
Water- Limited control over bodies of water, and can create waves when in water, or can create a jet stream of water which propels from the caster's hand when onshore. Can create a light rain at will, only if outside. Weak against electricity, strong against fire.
Electricity- Has a limited control over lightning, and can create an electric charge that covers the caster's body, or can shoot an electric charge a short distance away. Can make lightning strike from the sky at will, only if outside. Weak against nature, strong against water.
Illusion- Can create images of anything the caster desires, but the caster cannot leave the area that the illusion is in. Example- The caster can create the illusion that they are in another place, when really they are sneaking up behind the victim to strike. They can also create illusionary items, though they are not solid, and will disappear if someone tries to touch it. Is not good or bad vs. the other types of magic.
Nature- Master of the wilderness, has limited control over things such as plants or animals. The caster can "connect" with animals and use them to aid the caster, though only one animal can be controlled at a time, and it cannot be anything larger than a bear, such as a dragon. Can create razor sharp leaves to hurl at the enemy. Strong against electricity, weak against fire.
Please do not make a character invincible, or fight all the time. This is supposed to be fun, and anyone that ruins it will be ignored when they post. When wizards make things such as a fireball or a sharp leaf, they cannot make them be rapid-fire, and they cannot hit instantly. Say this- "xxxx hurls a fireball at xxxxx." instead of "xxx hits xxx with a fireball". Give the other person time to react. Same goes when attacking with melee weapons or bows.
There can be relationships between characters, though dont get x-rated or too graphic with it. Again, this is supposed to be fun, but we can't get overboard. Do not use foul language in the Forum, and if you do, you will get a warning, and if you persist, your character will be terminated. One last thing, don't have more than 1 or 2 characters, or it might get confusing for you.
