Clothing:A tight, sleeveless, black shirt, loose fitting black pants, wide black wrist bands, black fighters boots, golden belt, and a golden circlet with a ying-yang pendant in the front.

Appearance:Is in good shape and has good tone, but is not overly muscular appearing. His hair is parted so that the pendant is visible in the center of his forehead. Other than his hair cut he appears much like a ninja. In large Japanese characters down his upper right arm the Japanese word for "hope" is tattoed. His yellow eyes seem to glow strangely at night, and are quite intimidating to stare into.

Background:Yoshi grew up in a household torn apart by violence. His parents often argued, and his saiyan father often went to extremes to get his way. Yoshi often saw his mother beaten, and even though at a very young age he felt he was more powerful than his father, he dared not test his abilities by protecting his mother. Eventually Yoshi's mother had had enough beating and ran away with Yoshi while his father was away. He then spent his life training almost constantly to try and forget about his troubled youth, but he could not run from his haunting past forever. When he turned 16, his father found where he and his mother were living, and came for what he believed to be his. Without hesitation, Yoshi stepped in front of a blast meant for his mother. Yoshi's father was a feared saiyan for his power and rutheless nature, but Yoshi held his ground. After several hours of fighting, Yoshi stood, bruised and somewhat bloody in front of his mother, looking at where his father had been standing. Yoshi had overcome his father by simply out-enduring him. Yoshi did not have much offensive power, but his lightning quickness and seemingly endless ability to get up after a hard hit had helped him win the battle. As he stood there, he realized that not only did his mother need protecting, the whole world needed protecting. So, at the age of 17, the half Japanese, half Saiyan left home to defend world.
