PC Engine Review: J-Thunder
Publisher: Unknown
Genre: Graphic Adventure/Hentai Anime (X-Rated)
Game Type: PCE Super CD?

J-Thunder is a unique game. It is one of several games that were not officially released and sanctioned by NEC or Hudson. There is no manual, and no screen shots on the game. When I played it, I found out why. Please keep in mind that this game is hentai and not for anyone under 18.

J-Thunder is similar to games such as Snatcher. If you've ever played a graphic adventure, you know what I mean. Basically, it's a story in video game form. Some graphic adventures are more interactive and others are not. J-Thunder is minimally interactive, and basically tells a story.

As I cannot read Japanese, I don't really understand the story that was being told in J-Thunder. But here's what I do know. There is a girl who somehow becomese the pilot for a giant robot which looks a lot like a Transformer. The giant robot fights other giant robots, and in the middle of the fight, the girl stops and gets naked and has sex with the pilots of other giant robots. This happens a lot. Then they get back in their ships and fight more, and then she goes back to her base and there are more sex scenes. Then there are more robot scenes. You get the idea.

The sex scenes are fairly graphic, but not animated, and they have voice-over moaning as well. There are a couple interactive scenes, but other than that, all text and anime pictures. While I don't know Japanese, I still had no problem completing the game as it is so linear.

If you're into hentai anime and Transformers, this game will be a keystone to your collection, but it's definitely not for the average gamer.
