You must do a variety of these things in order to gain rank. You cannot advance for doing only one over and over.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities are things you are expected to do no matter what. If these are not met then penalties will be assigned accordingly. These are put in place to help better the guild and the guild cannot grow unless everyone is active and doing their part. The responsibilities are as follows:

1. Recruit for 4 hours each month (this is possible for everyone and it isn't hard, get out there and talk to people ) All recruiting should be reported to your commander, you should give the specific time of when you started and when you stopped.

2. Participate in, at the very least, 3 spars a month. Everyone needs to keep in shape and be familiar with sparring because it is relevant in a lot of ways in the roleplaying world.

3. Hand in a brief report at least two days before each guild meeting on any suggestions or questions you have concerning the guild. These will help us know what needs to be discussed at guild meetings. Everyones opinion is valued. If you have no suggestions or questions, simply turn in a report that says you have no suggestions or questions.

4. Those of Knight status and above are responsible for training squires

5. Squires must attend training sessions given to them by their superiors

6. Those of Battleguard status and higher must "adopt" a squire and/or apprentice to help out and answer any questions their person may have. This person will be in charge of training the squire and preparing them for their basic skill test. They will be assigned to help their person until their person achieves knight status.

7. Uphold a good attitude towards other members

Special Responsibilities and Rules for Commanders:

As a commander you will have more responsibilities and rules than other members. You, of course, will have to adhere to the general guild rules and responsibilities but in addition to those you must:

1. Spend 2 more hours recruiting a month. Anyone you personally recruit can be added to your division, this will make your division stronger and build up your points.

2. Assign squires to your higher in command members

3. You will be responsible for keeping track of how many points each of your members have earned each month. You will turn these in at the monthly guild meeting.

4. Make sure that those under you are turning in their reports for the guild meeting

5. You must make sure that all of those under you are meeting their responsibilities and if not have written explanations of why not.

6. Keep track of all of your members. If you have not saw or heard from someone in two weeks send them a notice asking why they have not been active. If they do not respond you must report them to the GC 's

7. In addition to your own suggestions and questions that you will turn in you must also include a summary of how your division is doing, any special accomplishments, and one idea for an event. This idea may or may not be used but there still must be an effort shown to create one.
