Shuurai continent, inhabited by the hunter class, humans, and kindly vampire lords, is also the most culturally diverse of all continents. Broken into different regions, each monitored by a vampire sanctioned by the Shuuraian government, these areas all have their own languages, customs, and social customs.
Below are a few of Shuurai's regions.
With Soryuu as it's center, those who are born in Camiea rarely leave it for very long. The pull of the land binds these people, who love their homeland and it's beautiful fields, warm seasons, and quiet villages.
The people here speak Camean, their native dialect, first and foremost. Then the hunter language, then Standard. Even when they do learn standard, those from Camiea always have distinctive accents.
Perhaps the Camiea regions greatest claim to fame is that Sir Samael Dominais grew up here. He's the only hunter ever to have come from the Camiea region.
Surrounding the city of Illumina, the countryside is parley to hot summers, cold winters, and utterly beautiful falls and springs. A land of fields, forests, and rolling hills, and situated near the coast, the Illumina region is called the Heart of Shuurai.
The people here speak both Standard and the hunter language, as they have to deal with both.
