Dark Horn

With a number of powerful weapons, the Dark Horn really is a zoid to be approached with caution. With very good armor that outweights that of the Geno Saurer, as well as weapons that are able to shoot anywhere but underneath it, this zoid is a very good choice. But if its speed and maneuverability your looking for, look elsewhere as the Dark Horn has one of the slowest turning circles ever recorded on a zoid, so a Blade Liger behind you would be...death. Also, don't count on running away from anything, or dodging a CPG anytime soon...but, a Dark Horn used well really shouldn't have to.

    Hiblit Vulcan Gun: This six-barreled 60mm vulcan chain gun with an extremely high rate of fire is a very powderful weapon indeed. A solid amount of firing of the weapon onto a shield is enough to take it down pretty quickly, as the rate of fire is so high. Set on a full 360 degree rotatable mount, this is a weapon not to be sneezed at.

    Twin 20mm Cannons: These two 20mm cannons are mounted on the tail of the Dark Horn, meaning they can sweap at roughly the 45 degrees behind it as the tail can. They fire at a semi-automatic rate.

    30mm Repeater Cannons: This single 30mm Repeater Cannon is mounted under the chin of the Dark Horn, firing at a fully automatic rate of fire. It can pivot 30 degrees downwards...although the pivot is rarely used.

    Missile Pod: On the top of the Hiblit is a four-shot missile pod that fires standard missiles. They missiles can be used against either ground or aerial targets. If the pilot chooses, a missile lock can be achieved after a view seconds. Once locked on and fired a missile will self-correct its flight path to accurately hit the target using the target's visual image and heat signature. The missiles may be fired without gaining a missile lock, but then they will be less accurate.

    Tri-Barreled Artillery Cannon: Located on the right side of the Hiblit mount, this cannon fires shells in a parabolic arc, that boast a high explosive at the end. Think of them as long-range impact cannons. They do have an effective minimum range, however. The artillery cannon can not hit the ground closer than 60 meters. Due to its location the artillery cannon pretty much moves with the Hiblit.

    Hardened Alloy Crasher Horn: Located on the tip of the Dark Horn's head, above the beak and between the eyes, is a hardened alloy horn. Locking the head into place, and charging forward with a solid hit will knock Zoids around like rag dolls, and do heavy damage to them, as well. An excellent close-quarters weapon.

    Special Abilities:
    Sensory Unit: This Sensory Unit tracks enemy zoids infrared as well as mapping out the terrain for the Dark Horn, giving it increased accuracy over other zoids.
