Helcat

This little cat zoid is clealy known for is stealth. It is small and pretty quick, generally used for statigic purposes, and always best used in numbers. Being smaller than most zoids is an advantage is some ways in being able to duck and weave around and underneath enemy zoids making it a harder target to hit. But for something that has an advantage against some zoids in some areas, will almost always have a weakness in others. The Helcat's main weakness is its lack of physical strength, but having said that, a Helcat used correctly shouldn't need to get up close and personal with an ememy zoid.

    • Weapons Explained:

    Dual 20mm Laser Machine Guns: These 20mm Laser Machine Guns are set in a fix-position on the Helcat's chest. As they are non-rotatable, the Helcat needs to be facing its enemy to hit it. Keeping in mind that running whilst firing drastically reduces its accuracy. They are fully-automatic, and fire beams instead of shells.

    Daul AZ 20mm Beam Cannons: These dual 20mm beam cannons are located on the back of the Helcat, and fully rotatable. They fire at a rate of semi-automatic, firing beam energy and are quite affective from close range.

    Alloy Claws: Standard claws.

    Special Abilities:
    Stealth Shield: The very thing that has made the Helcat well known, and if your not gonna use the Stealth Shield, there isn't much point in using a Helcat at all. Available at a flick of a switch, it acts as a clocking device that lets the Helcat “blend” into its background making it invisible. However it when firing weapons the muzzle flashes will give away its position, so be careful. Note: when the stealth shield is activated, the cat's sensors automatically go into infrared mode.

    Infrared Sensors: The Helcat contains built-in infrared sensors, able to pick up another Zoid's heat signature. These can be used whether it is cloaked or not, but if the Helcat activates its stealth shield, they will automatically activate.

    Motion Detector: The Helcat also has a built-in motion detector that can pick up anything that comes within 100 meters of the Zoid. However, the motion detector must be activated first, and it's really most useful in situations where the Helcat is fighting opponents with active coolant systems that can't be detected with IR.

    Infrared and Noise Suppression Equipment: The Helcat has a feature only a select few other zoids have. It has the ability to control its noise output and infared. It can hide its infared signature so it can't be seen through an infared radar. Very useful for its type of tatics. It also can give out little to no sound while running, very handy indeed.
