K'loh & Vorshnath - Igen Weyr, PernWorld MUSH

What does K'loh look like?
What's happened in K'loh's life?
Where can I go to find out more?

Short, dark brown locks cap this young man's head, cut not too long nor too short. Almost fierce-looking eyebrows angle downwards above dark chocolate eyes that spark with frustration and a hint of humor. His mouth has an incessant frown upon it, though that expression, as well, holds the faintest signs of amusement and entertainment. The only part of him that shows no trace of anger is his nose: a perfectly rounded, not quite upturned nose that is peppered by wild freckles. Well muscled arms and long, yet not gangly legs are well tanned from the sun, uniform with his seemingly angry face.

K'loh's ensemble, today, is probably more casual than any other he's ever worn. He wears a thin, white shirt, absolutely free of decor, that he quite possibly could have worn to bed the prior evening. However, it's worn enough that it probably serves him less protection from the elements than if he wasn't wearing a shirt at all. Khaki-colored trousers are rolled up to mid-shin, and his feet are sandalless; fortunately, he's clearly run around barefoot for a good portion of his life, and the soles of his feet are well used to this sort of lousy treatment. Upon the shoulder of this man of 22 Turns, 11 months, and 24 days is the knot of the Oasis Wingleader at Igen Weyr- a double-corded loop with a single tassle upon it. There's a gold thread designating him as Wingleader, as well as a strand of bronze for the color of his lifemate.

Fortunately for the rest of Pern, Kuloh had never lived anywhere but Igen Weyr- that's right, he's pure Igen stock, and he's got the Igen tan to prove it. Don't you pity the Igenites? Up to just recently, he hadn't had much of an interesting life, either- his parents, weyrmates K'luop, rider of brown Merodoth, and Holesh, rider of brown Kerenth, were both well and on good terms with him, so there was nothing ineresting there; his brother H'lup, rider of brown Faroteth, and his sister Oluoesh, rider of brown Jeccth, were also both riders at Igen, so there was nothing interesting /there/, either. Sure enough, his life just wasn't that interesting.

His sister, however, became extremely excited when, at the age of nineteen Turns, Kuloh was Searched. Finding it not at all odd that the dragons were only /now/ starting to show interest in him, Oluoesh babied him like never before. Shells, she even boasted to their brother, H'lup, about the chance for Kuloh to become a 'real' member of the family: she could picture him riding brown, she said! But when the hatching came, not one brown hatchling even glanced in Kuloh's direction, sending H'lup storming out of the galleries and back to his weyr, disappointed. Oluoesh, however, never lost hope, and soon after H'lup's exit, witnissed a dragonet joyously approaching Kuloh- but not a brown. Oluoesh only showed signs of disappointment for a moment, for it was immediately after that she realized the dragon by K'loh was bronze.

Weyrlinghood came and went without much hassle, and K'loh was extremely pleased when he was recruited into the Oasis wing. Less than one sevenday later, while having a conversation with his wingleader, Keefa, he was assigned the position of Wingsecond. Sure, H'lup just about killed him for that, but you know he was proud. Though even Oluoesh showed signs of jealousy. Of course, all was not perfect in the land of Pern for K'loh- his romantic relationship with Etienne, who had been a candidate with him, was... less than romantic, for starters. Shells, the two were constantly bickering, though a certain bronzerider would claim he never did a thing wrong. Either way, the relationship came to a halt so that the two could get to know each other better.

Meanwhile, K'loh formed some... interesting habbits. Just about every night, it seemed, he could be seen hanging around that wily, wicked Weyrwoman by the name of Veia, the trio completed with the presence of the greedy, garrulous greenrider L'ia. Sure, some of those adjectives don't fit the people at all, but... Live with it. Anyway, the trio is often found getting into... interesting situations, including getting 'tired' (drunk) and falling asleep in the Weyr bowl after a rousing game of... well, we're not sure what.

And so that's where K'loh stands today: Wingleader with Vorshnath, under the bad influence of two certain femaleriders.

...That is, that's where he /was/ until, during the midst of his twenty-first Turn, a problem came about in which he sort of, well, fell for one of his two best friends; not that he let /her/ know that. After a rather interesting proddy period of Veia and Sorchayth's in which K'loh made quite a fool of himself multiple times, Vorshnath caught the gold, resulting in a small clutch- as well as a pregnant Veia and an Official Relationship between the goldrider and K'loh.

After a little while, though surely it felt longer to Veia, two little boys were born to a joyful K'loh. However, there was one problem: were they E'in's or K'loh's? No one was quite sure, although K'loh immediately claimed them as his own and E'in immediately claimed them as... K'loh's, too. Veia decided to name them Keio and Raevin, despite K'loh's objections.
