Classes and Allignments

Classes

Aristocrat: The nobles, from royalty, to dukes, barons, and lords. Most of the time, they are aloof, and do not care for the “lower classes.”

Mage: Any of the humanoid species, and a few of those who are not, such as the dragons and kortha, can become mages. There are varying classes, with each class allowing the mage a certain amount of power. They are:
Apprentice: Fairly obvious. They are the learners, and can only use their strictly personal powers.

Journeyman: Once a mage reaches Journeyman-class, they leave their mage-school, and travel around the world, sharpening their skills with experience. They only use their personal powers, and they also have access to mage-reservoirs created by their particular schools.

Master: These mages have access to the ley-lines, the lines of power created from all living energy. They are hard for the untrained to control, but they are very useful to those who can use them, supplying much more powerful energy.

Adept: The most powerful of the mages, for they can access the nodes, the places where two or more ley-lines meet, and form a knot of power. The energy within the nodes is very hard to control, being far wilder magic than the rest.

Bounty Hunter: They usually have no cares, or family ties. They let absolutely nothing get in the way of completing their mission. Mwahaha.

Scout: The scouts are most often the elves, usually not of the rarer kinds. They are completely comfortable in their home environment, usually preferring it to the inside of a wall.

Trader: The travelers that go from one home to another, bringing goods and commodities from foreign places. They are usually pretty kind, but they are also very closed-mouthed about anything that has to do with their clans.

Slave: These are the people who were either born into this position, or sold into it. Their stories are usually tragic, and full of bad things.

Rider: This only pertains to the Kigh. It refers to weather or not they have Bonded to a korth or dragon.

Mercenary: They take practically any job offered to them, as long as it pays well. Of course, that does not mean that they do not have honor, for many mercs, usually the richer ones, can pick and choose what jobs they take.

Guard: These are the people that keep the peace throughout all of the four kingdoms. They ride specially trained wihk, and are usually accompanied by one or more shestal. They can be any of the different races.

Thief: ...What do you think these people do? They are usually small and agile, and can be found in every major city. Most work on their own, but they will often hook up with other thiefs to go after a big target.

Assassin: They are usually small and slender, which is to their advantage. They also udually do not have emotions that others can see, that focus allowing them to be good at their job.

Preist/Preistess: The deities are Vakanda (The God), Kalenal (The Goddess), and the Nameless One (The Evil One).

Advisor: The people who are the special advisor to the Ruler, and are entrusted with the Ruler's completely trust. This is an appointed class.

Allignments

Good: The pure do-gooders. They cannot be persuaded to change alliances, no matter what they are offered. Many of them are holy people, or fanatics.

Neutral-Good: They are people who are on the side of good, but who can be swayed to change sides.

Neutral: Those who do not take sides in the conflict, but can be swayed to either good or evil. The observers.

Neutral-Evil: The people who are evil, but not completely so. They can be swayed to change alliances.

Evil: The darkest of the lot, with absolutely nothing able to change their minds. Most often, they are fanatics.

Chaotic-Evil: The insane ones working for the evil group. They are the most likely to do suicide bombings and the like.
