The Fox Clan-Kitsune Family

When Shinjo and the Ki-Rin left Rokugan to explore the unknown lands, some of her number chose to remain behind.  This remnant became known as the Fox Clan.  Even after the return of the Unicorn, the Fox still retain their independence, deep in the heart of Kitsune Mori and have a deep understanding of the kami and the animal spirits of Chikushudo.  Even though the Fox have allied with the Wasp, Sparrow, Mantis and Crane clans in the past, they fiercely retain their independence.  The Fox have a standing rivalry with the Hare Clan to this day.
