The games in this category only allow horses - i.e. no mythical characters, no "evil" characters (although if you're just a nasty bugger, it's fine) and no humans. The ones designated as "realistic" generally don't allow talking and tend to be more advanced.

This is as good as it gets in the RPG world. Wylde is for advanced RPers only - seriously! It's a truly wonderful game with awesome graphics.
Skylark Isle
This game is just like old times! It's a simple SIM for any level of RPer - and they're running short on stallions at the moments, so there are plenty of mares. Whether you want to learn how to play or you want to play with people who have been doing it for years, go visit!
Equitopia!!
Topia has got to be one of the longest-lived RPG games still open. 4 years and still going, with good reason! All RPers are welcome, no matter how advanced you are, and there are lots of active players.

Soooooooo cool.......you have to see the layout on this thing. It's elaborate enough to occupy every free second of any RPer's time, well-run and really pretty besides!
Arillia
Another lovely game, very nice and off to a good start as a new RPG. No beginners are welcome here, and the owner must accept you before you begin to play. Visit if you're ready to play realistic and do lots of fighting.
Feral
Feral is a top-of-the-line RPG. It's lots of fun and is played by talented RPers. Please feel free to go and have a look around! Keep in mind, though, this is a realistic game.
The Oath
This new game is loosely based on Lord of the Rings, and is very unique and inventive. You play a domestic horse but join herds just like you normally would, and try to evade capture by an evil dragon. Exciting!
Requiem To the Vanquished Stallion
This game, once deleted but now back and better than ever, is truly amazing. It's well-run, and is one of the new realistic type RPGs. This game is absolutely amazing - it looks great, and it would be great to play! You've got to see this site!
Europa
This is another realistic game, made by the same person as runs the above game. There is no talking, and you have to be an actively involved horse-knowledgeable person to play - it's a really great game! Check it out.
Singin' Valley
This game is full of active participants - very full. It's also a fairly realistic SIM game. It is run by two stallions, Radical Jack and Backdraft. They're recruiting members now - go and help them out!
Wilde
This game has been around for a pretty long time, as its many members know, but the owner has just finished redoing it completely! It looks great, and is now one of the best ultra-realistic games out there.
Bacour~Wild Spirit
This game has recently been restarted, and many of its members have not returned. They could really use some more members - hey, you could be the top stallion there if you get there soon enough! Have fun playing this semi-realistic game!
Gravity
This game is pretty new, but is growing steadily and is surprisingly active for its age. If you're an experienced sim player and like playing realistic games, visit this site!
