There have been numerous people who have decided to play wolves in roleplay. First off, I will give you a brief overview of the nature of Canus Lupis.
1. Wolves are immortal in a sence. They live as long as long as they do, usually due to the fact that they wish to live no longer. If a wolf chose to live longer, it would.
2. Wolves are cunning, curious creatures. They are naturally extremely quick and agile, with wide perseptions, and a keen sence of logic.
3. They are not too emotional. They are capable of feeling human emotions, but only under certain conditions. If they are around humans long enough, they may begin to take on some of their traits, such as emotion.
4. Wolves are the only known creature with complete control over their bodies, and bodily functions. Thus, a Sirens Call, some poisons, and other such temptaions usually have little effect on them.
5. Wolves worship no gods. They are, in many ways however, keepers of the spirt world. While not following them, they often intereact with the upper beings, doing their bidding, and transmitting messages to the physical world.
6. Very rarely, a young wolf gets adventursome, and travels out into the world of men. They are blessed with certain powers, such as the ability to assume the form of men. Usually, the wolf finds itself unable to cope with such emotion and returns to the wilds, yet, every so often, the wolf continues, leaving the pack and making its way in the world. This would usually be how you would play a wolf.
7. Wolvish affiliations usually lie in the realm of Lawful Neutral. They are rarely evil, as wolves cannot feel such feelings. They are dedicated to themselves and survival, every once in a while venturing to join and army and fight for a cause.
8. Wolves are a good character to play. They have distinct natrual character abilities, with nothing special and no real weeknesses. They start out relativly easy to play, and with no superpowerful abilities, however, after a while, if your character survives, it can grow qutie powerful. Happy Roleplaying!
