Personality:
Her cold, cruel attitude towards life, and everyone around her can cause
most people to think of her as brash, and a bit of a bitch, but what can
you expect with this line of work. She is calm in even the most stressful
of situations. She refuses to show emotion, as it gets in the way of her
work, and may cause her to mess up, and she hates personal involvement
unless it’s with her work. She loves her job (obviously) and takes
it very seriously; she is also very good at it. She hates it when
people don’t pay her, and she especially hates it when people set her up.
She has very few morals, with the exception of one; she will never harm
a child intentionally.
Appearance: She
is slim, and of average height (about 5’7”), she has short black hair,
and large scars over her eyes, therefore making her physically blind, but
she has been enchanted with ethereal sight, therefore allowing her to see
with no eyes to see with, it also allows her to see perfectly in the dark,
and light alike. She wears a twisted cloth over her eyes, and she
wears leather boots, and greaves, she also wears hard leather armor, chain
gloves, chitin pauldrins, a loose black cloak that conceals all of her
armor, and her face, she also wears two scissors catars (her weapons of
choice) quite obviously not the traditional weapons of a Shadowknight.
She has very pale skin, as she prefers to work in the dark.
Background: An
orphan as a child, she ran away from the home that she was in, because
nobody wanted to adopt her, because of her expressionless attitude.
When she was about 14 years old she picked a fight with a rather temperamental
dark elf. The dark elf slashed her across the face several times
with his katana, and walked off down the path that they were on. Later
on that day, a druid of unknown race, and origin stumbled upon her and
took her in under his roof, and nurtured her back to health, realizing
that she was now blind because of the fight, he called for a congregation
of all of the strongest druids in the area to help her, they cast a spell
of ethereal vision on her, this allowed her to see again. When she woke
from her sleep the next morning she took to the road again, she left a
note on the druid’s desk in his study, and she left. When she arrived
at the next town down the road, she noticed that people seemed to be cowering
from her, and she wondered why, until she looked into a shop window and
saw her reflection, she was devastated to find out that she had no eyes,
so she ripped the sleeves of her shirt off and wrapped them around her
face to conceal her missing eyes. She later decided to train in the
art of the shadow skill, she learned much from her master, and eventually
surpassed him in skill at the age of 17, she became very good friends with
her master, and was beginning to show emotion in her life, until her master
was assassinated in his sleep by a dark figure wearing a cloak. Her soul
was taken by vengeance when she woke the next morning to find her master
brutally slaughtered in his sleep. She took her weapons, and left that
morning, to start a new life, the life of a Shadowknight. Her soul
fueled by vengeance, she wanders the land of Grago, as a lone warrior,
who’s one desire is to find her master’s killer, and make him pay… in blood.
Although a lone knight, she allows her services for hire, as one job may
turn out to be the assassin who killed her master.
