When I had first heard about Pikmin, I instantly thought to myself that this was just going to enflare the "Nintendo is Kiddy" calling of the PS2 and Xbox fanboys. And why not? The game is colourful…..and that IS what makes a game kiddy correct? Well, if you're a PS2 or Xbox fanboys that's exactly right. I bet about 95% of people who haven't played Pikmin will quickly agree that Pikmin is for kids. If they had played it, they'd realise that it isn't a little, simplistic game. It's actually very challenging.

Of course, the first couple of levels are easy, for the sole purpose of training you for the harder levels. With the worry of monsters, obstructions, having the right kind of Pikmin and of course the ever-dreadful timer, Pikmin is quite complex. First, you have to learn how to acquire new Pikmin, call them, dismiss them, and so on, then you have to start to learn about destroying walls, killing monsters with ease and other various tasks.

Now, what sets Pikmin apart from any other game is because it is so unique. No other game ever has come even close to this. The whole experience is something that every gamer needs to try out because if you don't, you are seriously missing one of the best games of all time. Even the most flaming Xbox fanboy has to agree that Pikmin is one sweet game. Just go buy it already and believe me, you'll be happy you did.
