Characters
Final Fantasy III
Terra
Well, I can pretty much say I like every last character in the game, and Terra is a fairly decent character. She starts out with magic, which is always a plus, but later in the game, everyone can get magic. But Terra stays with it and gains a new technique called 'morph.' Morph is a really great ability, because it makes Terra a much better character. Plus, the half-esper thing, just looks pretty damn cool.
Locke
Locke is a really disappointing character if you ask me. So he has steal. Wow. Steal is probably the stupidest thing you could have that actually does something.
Edgar
In a few words, Edgar is a pimp. The ladies man. Plus, his tool abilities are probably the best weapon in the game. Not only is Edgar a really great character to watch, he's a great addition in battles too.
Sabin
I like Sabin. I really do. I just don't understand why you can't use blitz all the time. If you can, I just don't get it or something.
Shadow
Raise your hand if you sold all of Shadow's equipment when you thought he was dead! Boy, that really messes you up when you're on the floating continent. Shadow's throw ability rivals Edgar's tools, except you have to buy the skeans every now and then.
Cyan
Cyan is the best!!! SwordTech is definetly the best ability in the game, now that I think about it. Another great thing is that he's like, really old! You never get old people in Final Fantasy games. Aside from that retarded old guy in Final Fantasy V, which is a seriously disappointing game.
Gau
Gau is a little kid that jumps on animals to learn their moves. What more could you ask for in a character?
Celes
I have yet to find out why Celes is a character you'd actually want. Basically, all she has is magic.
Setzer
Setzer's ability is also very good, aside from the fact that it takes away your money. And he bears a striking resemblance to Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII.
Relm and Strago
I don't really like either of these charcters much. Strago's Lore is okay, but he's not a very good character in my opinion. Relm is a little girl, so naturally, she's not the best fighter.
Secret characters
Well, I the only secret character I have is Moogle, who is just awesome. I mean, he's a little white bear thing with a huge pink nose. Gogo is pretty damn cool looking, but then there's his name... Say nothing of the Sasquatch thing you pick up...
Final Fantasy VII
Cloud
Cloud is a powerhouse. His fourth level Limit has to be the best move in any Final Fantasy game ever. I have to get me a haircut like that someday.
Barret
Barret...Ummm... has a gun for his hand! Ummm... Yeah...
Tifa
Tifa is a fairly strong character. Her limits are really pretty good because you can use them all at once, pretty much. And she has huge... tracts of land..
.
Aeris
In my opinion, Aeris is a serious waste of a character. She deserves to die! I mean, she's horrible!
I'm not even going to put Cait Sith on this list.
Cid
Cid is another cool old guy. Not quite as old as Cyan from Final Fantasy III, the way I figure. Another good thing is, he calls people dumbasses all the time.
Vince
To put it simply, Vince is a badass. You have to love the red flowing cape thing, and the hair. His limits are just awesome. Chaos is unstoppable, and his other limits are better than any other with the exception of maybe Cloud.
Yuffie
I'm still debating on whether Yuffie is worth getting or not. Note: DO NOT EVER go to Wutai. I spent about three months there trying to figure out that stupid thing.
Final Fantasy X
Tidus
No one else is cool enough to dress like that and not get shot after appearing on talk shows. Tidus is both a skilled fighter and blitzball player. ALWAYS get the Jecht Shot when on the boat, it's kind of tough to get, but it's worth it.
Rikku
Rikku is really just a strange person in goggles and a wetsuit. She's not really that good at anything.
Wakka
Not only does Wakka have a really great voice in the game, he comes in handy for battles sometimes. Anything with 'Dark' in it that Wakka has is usually a good bet. Am I the only one who wonders how Blitzball players don't drown in that big dome full of water? Is there some freaky Water World thing going on?
Lulu
Lulu is one scary broad. With the red eyes and the black leather wrap thing going on? Lulu is also the first Final Fantasy character that is oblivious to the fact that the best weapon available to them is a teddy bear with a huge pink nose.
Yuna
Yuna is her daddy's little girl. Everyone in Spira expects her to defeat Sin and bring the next calm and whatever. Anyway, Yuna is the only character you'll get that has Summons, which is a pretty good ability. If only the Aeons took the place of just Yuna instead of everyone. Then they would be so much more useful.
Kimarhi
Kimarhi is pretty cool, if you're into the whole blue cat person with a horn thing. Lancet is always fun to use. I love using Lancet on the Bomb enemies, just so I can blow myself up. He should really talk more though.
Auron
Auron is possibly my favorite character from any Final Fantasy game. For some reason I usually like the oldest person in the game. Cyan is old, Auron is old, Vince is actually older than Cid, I think, except he doesn't age. You have to love it when he says, "Goodbye..." when he destroys those big lumbering things in one hit. And, the whole return from the dead thing, that's just awesome. What's up with Auron's arm though? It looks like he has a gimp arm, but he uses it just fine in battle.
