*ABOUT THE AUTHOR*

Hello there! My name is Johanna Bartholomew, and thanks so much for visiting!!! I'm a huge fan of the Final Fantasy series and also have love for the music. :o) I'm a student as Gavilan college and I actually started this webpage for my html class, so hopefully this will turn out to be really cool.

By looking at this page almost everyone would assume that I am a lesbian. You are entitled to your opinion I guess, but I can tell you I'm not. I'm not offended by it nor am I against homosexuality. Everyone is different and has a different preference, and that is just how people are. I believe in the human soul, and we are attracted to people who share the same essence as ourselves. But anyway, back to my explaination, I just like what I like....and I like rainbows and sparklies!!! (and men) :o) Okay, now for a little info on me. Well I guess I will start at the beginning and kinda sum up my life in a paragraph (or 7)...here goes.

I was born in Minnesota and moved out to California when I was 8. In 5th grade I joined the band program at school playing the clarinet. About the same time I became addicted to the game Final Fantasy II (in Japan it was released as Final Fantasy IV) Then in 8th grade I was invited to join the school's Jazz Band playing Saxophone. When I moved on to High School I joined the marching band and was also a part of winter percussion, (which was really fun, but I don't think I was any good :o)) a school musical called "Carousel" and also their jazz band.

With all of the extra-curricular music groups I was in came the opportunity to travel. I've been to Canada, Germany, Switzerland, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam & Singapore. With my family I've also visited Maui and England.

But since high school I have stopped playing music. Not because of lack of passion or talent, but of discipline and patience. I would expect results too fast and would get frustrated and give up. In college I have taken some music classes: Piano, music history, voice, and music theory. (By the way, I recommend Mr. Junker to anyone, even though he is a bit eccentric, he is passionate about what he does, and that is the key to any great teacher)

This color is a bit dark to read, but I just had to finish the rainbow! :o) Well let's see, now music is an obsession. I collect it and listen nonstop. I mainly use kazaa to get songs, but I also buy music and get tunes from all over the web.
