Final Fantasy X-2 Review

Final Fantasy X-2

I'm going to be very straightforward here: I'm an extremely hard reviewer. If you really like this game and you see something in here that you completely disagree with, don't get upset or feel awkward when playing your cherished game. The controversial world of gaming is full of differing opinions, and you have a right to your own. The following is riddled with my mostly facts from the game and has very few opinions within the total text.

This entire page contains several SPOILERS. Consider yourself warned.

Content : 8.8/10

The game was very enjoyable, but not traditional at all. In the beginning, the game is painfully similar to Charlie’s Angels. After a while, though, the characters come back to the ground and lead the game to its changeable but nevertheless enjoyable ending.

A lot of the characters were greatly changed, though, and others aren’t even talked about, like Auron.

Brother. He was awesome! Despite the fact that he and Yuna are cousins, he is blatantly in love with her. It’s so funny!

It’s kind of sad how you can’t get the wonderful ending without playing your brains out, but it’s worth it.

Sound : 10/10

Excellent voice actors topped fantastic music created one hugely great reason to turn up the volume. I can’t complain at all.

Graphics : 10/10

Eye-candy. (I’m a female, so I’m NOT talking about the female’s choice of clothing)

Character design was good. Paine, Baralai, and Gippal looked so cool.

Battle : 9.0/10

Battles were fun with the whole dressphere thing, but I wish that I didn’t have to go through other dresspheres and watch the cool but time-consuming changing scene to get to what I wanted/needed. Of course, I could just stick the dresspheres closer to each other, but it can get difficult when more than two different dresspheres need to be used.

Dresspheres were original and helpful. They looked awesome, too.

Skill Factor : 7.5/10

Really easy. Wow. So easy. However, there was that Angrya Mainyu (spelling?) from Besaid that I never could beat and there was also that huge red dragon that constantly jumped forward in the final dungeon that I could never beat. There were really tough!

Other than that, though, I even beat Ultima Weapon easily.

Overall : 8.8/10

Great game. There were many problems, but what game is perfect, anyway?

I may add more later.

Love it or hate it, tell me what you thought about my review and/or the game!
