AERIS (OR AERITH) GAINSBOROUGH

The 'flower-girl' Cloud met on the streets of Midgar.

She's a rather magically-oriented fighter that plays a pretty big role in the plot. She's rather, well, let's just say infatuated with Cloud, and she'd much rather spend time deepening the love triangle between herself, Cloud, and Tifa than discovering her unusual abilities. I can't say too much else about her without having to warn people of spoilers. Sorry to all you Aeris fans that wanted me to say really good things about her. -_-

Usefulness in battle: Seeing as she's the best magic-caster, I'm sure that she'd be useful when it came to the long-winded battles. It's just a shame that her physical attacks are, well...the worst. Therefore, I only used her when I absolutely had to use her.
