Edgar is the king of Figaro castle after his father died. Although the empire think hes on their side, he is secret connected with the returners, an anti-empire group.

Sabin is Edgar's missing brother. He disappeared after his father died. He chose freedom instead of being a king, so the throne went to Edgar. They haven't seen each other for ten years.

Cyan is a warrior for the dorra castle. After being attacked by the empire and losing his wife and child Cyan wants deep revenge for the empire and is a strong warrior for your team.

Celes is a general for the Empire. When found by locke in a cell, Locke can't do anything but help her. You find out that she has now left the empire and is a free agent. She does not get along with Cyan.

Gau is a kind of half human type boy who lives in the Veldt. After finding you lying in the water he brings you out but runs away. The only way to bring him back is to give him steak.
