Hulking, ugly, and brutal, the Orcs are one of the newly discovered races. Their ferocity and territoriality makes garnering further information about their customs and actions highly unadvisable. First ignored as a race of mindless beasts, the orcs prooved the complete falsehood of that inference at the battle of Garan'Thok, when under the leadership of the chieftain Grok Buhzahl they overtook the human city of Cirin'al. Through the use of group tactics, diversion, and, assassination, the orcs were able to take, and hold the city. It remains the stronghold of the Orcish peoples, and is now referred to as Garan'Thok. Orcs are big. Dwarfing humans a few feet in either direction. Though not exceptionally smart, their understanding of battle and war is hard to match. Many orcs have horns or spurs of bone extruding from their green skins, and their bodies ripple with muscle from head to toe. They are every bit as strong as they look, perhaps more-so, stories circulate around the barracks of human encampments about men being killed in swaths to single orcish strokes, unfortunately, too few have survived any confrontation with the orcs and as such those stories cannot be verified.
