Netherin Race

"Come then...This blade will look better in your back than in its sheath."

Nero -Sirian-Kha of Nethrezim

In the history of these people's interactions with our own, there has been only one instance of direct combat. Nero, self-proclaimed Sirian-Kha of Nethrezim, to prove himself to his would-be employer artfully dispatched five of his would-be employers' most accomplished guards using only a small dagger. According to onlookers, his speed and agility were unmatched and his skill made his movements seem almost dancelike. He smiled throughout the entire ordeal, and taunted his attackers as though he knew the outcome before it happened. After his bloody business was complete, and an agreement was reached, none of them ever saw him again.

Rumor has it that these shadowy individuals hail from the southern continent of Asrahal. No exploration has successfully uncovered the true home of the Netherin, so in this instance assumption must suffice. The Netherin, as they refer to themselves, only seem to appear when their skills are required. While their pitch black hair and eyes distinguish them from normal men, they seem to share the same body structure. Their dark skin is usually adorned with intricate tattoos, each of which apparently hold some deeper meaning in Netherine culture. Their abilities at stealth and subterfuge are unmatched by any other known entity in the realms, and some of the more aged elves claim that the dark ones can read the thoughts of others. Though this would justify their behavior, many scholars are very skeptical of this inference. In any case, the few known Netherin are masters, unmatched in the arts of assassination. Swift, and precise, no Netherin assassin has ever been caught, and it is highly doubtful that their attempts ever fail.


Netherin Moves

  • Assasins Hatred (self status) - this move allows a shadow to boost thier sp 10x its current for 3 turns. Can be done 1x during battle. requirements: MEN 1,000 ALC 5,000

  • Assasins Duty (status effect) - this is a move that the user does in order to drain all the DEX and ALC from any one foe and turn it into a powerful energy barrier around himself that will block any attack including status for 3 turns. Can be done 1x during battle. requirements: MEN 10,000 ALC 15,000

  • Pure Darkness (status effect) - this move causes an opponent to lose sight and be confused for 3 turns making him or her lose 2 and make them unable to attack (but they may however defend power up or anything not classed as an attack). Can be done 1x during battle. requirements: MEN 50,000 ALC 55,000

  • Dark Chaos - user attacks an opponent with a flury of 500 black energy (special damage 50,000) requirements: MEN 100,000 ALC 150,000

  • Unseen Fury - user begins to charge a low level ALC blast but shoots it with an added bit of ALC that tricks the opponent making their attack miss unless it is a wide blast. requirements: MEN 150,000 ALC 200,000

  • Spiritual Hatred - this attack is a one handed blast done with the palm the energy is a dark purple in color requirements: MEN 200,000 ALC 250,000

  • Dark Blast - this attack is a low level energy blast done with the fist requirements: MEN 200,000 ALC 200,000

  • Chou Dark Blast - a much more powerful version of the dark blast and can drain 1/4 of opponents DEX requirements: MEN 100,000 ALC 150,000

  • Black Beam - a wide blast of powerful black energy shot with 2 fingers pointed at the target. requirements: MEN 80,000 ALC 100,000

  • Sho Ran Blast - a wide blast shot when the user raises both hands above his head forming a large dark ball of alchemy. When fully charged he then unleashes it at the opponent causing a special damage of 500,000. requirements: MEN 800,000 ALC 1,000,000
