Tahani Elf info
The Tahani have actually been around since Falandia was first created, although there have been periods in history when they have totally disappeared. They are regular elves who happened to Join with the rare Shateri that show up now and then.
The Shateri are not a new breed, but are unicorns, dragons, and wolves, which show up in regular litters/clutches/foalings. They can be any colour, and some of the strongest have been brown unicorns or green dragons. Currently there are only a few of the new breeds, the water dragons, rocs, and cats, who are Shateri, but more will surely appear. They have some strange mutation that gives them powers far beyond those of even the strongest Silver dragons or Black unicorns. Shateri can always be recognized by their silver eyes.
Shateri are seperated into two categories. The true Shateri, who have the silver eyes from birth and the hidden Shateri, who must come into contact with a true Shateri before their powers are revealed. Strangely, the hidden Shateri are often the most powerful.
Tahani elves have many powers, including teleportation, telepathy, empathy, transformation, although they can only transform themselves, and many others. The ranking amoungst the Tahani is set by Queen Marrigan, and consists of her, then her advisors, who each have their generals. Below the generals are the majority of the Tahani, who have their own system of ranking. But generally, whoever knows the most about a given situation takes over, and if two fight over it, the weaker Tahani almost always gives way.
Tahani can be male or female, and of any mixture of blood, although sea elves are unusual, and the only mermaid Tahani at present is Queen Marrigan.
