Description: Duncan is around six and a half feet tall but weighs a mere 185 lbs., leaving him with an average amount of muscle. His hair is black, and his eyes are an eerie pitch black. Duncan wears a black tunic with no sleeves and a long white cape over his broad shoulders.

History: The son of Blake, the most highly decorated knight in his native kingdom, who was the king's personal bodyguard. The king was corrupt, however, and one night a group of dark wizards kidnapped Duncan and held him ransom against Blake and the king. Despite Blake's loyalty and constant support for the king, the corrupt monarch refused to finance the ransom and he discharged Blake. The king's guards followed Blake and turned against the king, killing him, and the kingdom was thrown into chaos. The peasants of the kingdom were outraged by the death of their king because Blake simply didn't know how to rule the kingdom. The peasants and the nobility began battling and the entire kingdom was pure chaos, until the dark wizards entered the kingdom and began destroying everything. Nearly everyone was killed, and the remaining handfull of mages took Duncan to his father, where they killed Blake in front of his eyes in rage. The wizards used their evil magic to embed these horrible sights in Duncan's mind, turning his eyes an evil black.

The wizards tried to raise Duncan to be one of their cohorts, but one night when they were traveling there was a freak storm which stranded them in a forest. Lightning struck a tree and a firestorm began spreading through the forest, causing panic among the wizards. Duncan was able to escape the disaster, but he was unable to find any survivors among the debris from the night before. Thankful for the disaster, Duncan decided to dedicate his life to the planet, which he gave credit for saving his life. Duncan went to a nearby kingdom and practiced Geomancing for years while training to be a knight like his father, but the king was assassinated before Duncan reached the highest rank of knight, and the king was replaced by a corrupt king. Duncan left the kingdom, not wanting to fall prey to the same fate as his father, but before he left, he used all the kingdom's land and resources to collect samples of every element. Once he had left the area, Duncan forged all the elements into a single sword, Exbreeze, by which he swore that he would end all political corruption that he came across.

During his travels, Duncan encountered Alexander Nightshade, a powerful demon from another dimension bent on causing mass destruction. Duncan attempted to smite him in a fierce battle, but greatly underestimated his opponent and barely fended Alex off until he eventually retreated. What Duncan originally expected to be a minor battle with the monster ended up evolving into a crusade against evil before finally becoming a personal rivalry to end all personal rivalries. Months passed as each became more powerful, and ultimately, Alex and Duncan encountered each other at the Divine Dragon Shrine, where Alex planned on killing the most powerful beast on the planet, absorbing its power, and ultimately destroying the planet. Duncan followed Alex to Alex's home dimension and a catastrophic battle ensued, in which Duncan lost his left arm and almost lost his life. With the assistance of Duncan's companions, however, Alex was felled, and his home dimension collapsed in the subsequent shift in its balance of nature.

Since the great battle, Duncan has appeared only once among others, when he tracked down his old (and now very corrupt) companion Devin and briefly spoke to him of his horrific experiences in the other world. Something has obviously changed about Duncan, something sinister and secret, but only time will tell exactly what Duncan's newest experiences have done to him - or what they will do to others.
