Why I Should Get My Belly Button Pierced

I really want to get my belly button pierced. This is because it looks great, I will eventually get it done anyway, and it will boost my self-esteem. I think getting my navel pierced would be a great idea.
Firstly, belly piercings look great. I am sure you have seen people who get it done and wear in dirty or trashy belly rings. But I will not do this as it is not my style. You have seen some very nice belly rings from Kim that are cute and sparkly. These look stylish, not trashy AT ALL. Also, you might think that the only people who pierce anything other than their lobes are ³rebels without a cause,² but belly piercing is one of the most popular piercings out there. I can see how you think double holes look bad, and while I do not agree, no one will ever really see my stomach except at camp. Also, you might think I am too young to have a belly button piercing, but this will only insure that I have it in for a longer time.
Furthermore, I will get my belly button pierced eventually, regardless of your refusal now. Getting it at this age will let me have it for a longer time. I will not keep it in all of my life, and will surely take it out before I get pregnant, which will not happen for a long time anyway. I have seen belly button scars before, and they are not as bad as even a lobe piercing scar. They are simple a tiny white dot above your belly button, and no one will see that when I am older. Getting it done at eighteen might mean that Iıll get pregnant in my late twenties, and then I will only have it for about ten years. Piercing it now will allow me to have at least sixteen years of a beautiful stomach :). I think getting it now will benefit for me in later years.
Lastly, getting this done will boost my self esteem. I will absolutely adore my belly, because I will have a cute little barbell on it. I will feel great about myself and my stomach. I will also feel proud of myself for getting it done (which I heard does not hurt at all!), and that high will last me a long time. This is another great reason for me to get my belly button peirced.
In conclusion, getting my belly button pierced will only help me, as it is beautiful, and will boost my self-esteem. If I get it done at a nice, clean place (Studio Z in New Haven I heard is very clean and friendly, Sam got hers done their and it looks great and never got infected) I am sure we will both love my belly button.
