The simple fact is, that rips do not truly have an owner. There is no possible way that rips can belong to any site, person, or organization. A rip is art created by someone else, mostly major companies, that was copied and formatted for use with RM2K. If someone rips graphics from a game, posts it on a site, and says that it is exclusive, they are VERY wrong. Unless it is an edit of a rip, they can't say it is their own. I appreciate to those rip artists out there, but I do not believe that they hold any kind of connection to the graphics except for the fact that they ripped it. The original graphics are property of their respective owners, and is copyrighted. So I give all credit for the rips on this site to the companies that created the game that they were originally from. If any rips are submitted with any other kind of signature that "Ripped by ------" then I will edit the file and erase the rippers signature, because they are trying to take credit for something someone else made. |
