The Trial of Scorpius - As recorded by the Council of Seven in Ispar

Lord Greth looked down into the pit and smirked at the shackled Scorpius. In front of Scorpius a mysterious portal of light pulsated and swirled. Greth cleared his throat and spoke, his voice echoing around the council chamber, 'Scorpius, son and heir to Lord Levias, you are accused of witchcraft, how do you plead?'. Scorpius looked up at Greth with anger in his eyes. 'You know I'm no witch, my magic has always been used for good', yelled Scorpius. 'Then how do you account for these mysterious portals appearing at the same time as your gift?', asked Greth. 'I know not what these portals are, and I swear that they have nothing to do with me', replied Scorpius.
A cloaked member of the council turned to Greth and said, 'What prove do we have that Scorpius is involved?'. Greth snarled and said 'Scorpius has the ability to melt swords and turn armour brittle, he can harm by merely looking at you. I propose that Scorpius, in league with dark forces, is planning to take over Aluvia. This is why he has been spiriting our militia away'. The council then broke into muttering. Scorpius screamed out 'Lies, Lies, Why are you doing this Greth, your are my fathers friend!!' The anger became too much, Scorpius stared at Greth and started to mumble. Greth lurched and blood began to stream from his nose, 'AARGH!, Guards he is trying to kill me, subdue him', cried Greth. A crack is heard as a sword hilt hits the back of Scorpius's head sending him into a daze. 'You see!, he dares harm a member of the council. What more prove do you need', screamed Greth. The council then looked at each other and said in unison, 'We are the council of seven and those of us who turn our backs, find the accused guilty'. Scorpius looked up and could see blurred shapes turning, one by one. Greth with a look of satisfaction then said, 'Scorpius, your are found guilty of breaking the Code of Pwyll. Such a crime is punished by banishment. It is ironic that one of these portals happened to appear here yesterday. Scorpius you are hereby stripped of all belongings, titles, lands and inheritance. Your name shall be removed from all chronicles except the trial papers. We now cast you into the same hell that you sent your victims. Guards! Send him forth from our lands, Forever!'. The weakened Scorpius yelled, 'No! Curse you Greth, this is not finished!'. Greth gestured to the guards and said, 'oh but it is finished'. The Guards then unshackled Scorpius and quickly pushed him into the portal. Scorpius spinned for what seemed like an eternity, then everything went black.
