The tale of how Dragon Island came to be

Long ago, dragons went to War with one another, destroying most of the planet on which they lived. Also many dragons and their Riders were lost in the process. Some humans lived, and their race continues to prosper. However, only two survived with bonded dragons, a woman and her White dragon, and a man and his Black. The White had a long mating flight, and it resulted in a large clutch of 20. This clutch is the last hope for Dragon kind. Tsuga and her magnificent white, Cleome, have watched the eggs carefully, awaiting their day to hatch. It has come, and there is 1 black and 1 white. They and the white and her rider, scan the island for humans that are not afraid, and wish as well to preserve dragonkind.
