If my information is correct (from a fellow researcher in Stringer, MS), Easter(or maybe Ester) McKinley was the first wife of Rev. John Pigg Martin and she was the sister of John McKinley. Rev. Martin performed the marriage ceremony for John McKinley and Sarah Brady in Lawrence Co., MS in 1822. John McKinley, John Martin, and Easter McKinley Martin all came from Warren Co., GA The questions I have are (1) Was John McKinley the father of William? and if so, (2)Who were the parents of John McKinley?

Elbert m.late 1840's so is not in father's hh on the 1850 but
living nearby as is the oldest son, Seaborn. These two boys
fit the 1840 Marion Co MS census and descendants in the county say they
were the lst two children. All the McKinleys in the county
can be traced to the same family.
Sarah & john were m. in Lawrence CO MS 1-3-1822, consent
given by her father Robert.
The only photo I have of the older ones are of William &
Sarah Stringer b. 1831 & 1844 respectively. and of
Alonzo & Theodocia (1866 & 1870).
I have the cemetery inscriptions for the family. John & Sarah
B. have no marked tombstones but are said to be buried at
old Mt Nebo Cem.
