This is an alternate universe, starting when the Great Saiyaman Saga starts(the part on Earth, not the part in Other World). In this universe, Son Gokuu has not been killed and the Planet Vegeta has not been demolished, although no other Saiya-jin warriors so far have come searching for Kakarot, oddly enough. Eh, go fig.
Our story begins on one particularly sunny day at Capsule Corp. where Trunks and Goten are playing as usual. Gokuu, Chichi(NPC), Gohan, Krillin, Android 18 and Marron have all joined Bulma and Vegeta for what you could probably call a small party. Suddenly, all the Z Senshi sense a strange ki. Vegeta leaves, looking uncharacteristically nervous and, after Krillin points out the direction it's coming from, Gokuu, Gohan and Krillin set off. Goten and Trunks have sensed the ki, too and follow, as well, hoping to be discrete. These hopes are dashed when Goten yells out and alerts the others. Gokuu doesn't have a problem with it, though. He lets them come along.
Meanwhile, a little kid named Mayik is in the middle of a desert within flying distance from Capsule Corp. and runs into a hostile woman named Naoko, who has an odd interest in the Z Senshi when they show up a few minutes later, accompanied by Androids 17 and 21. Vegeta shows up and talks to Naoko for a while, then is attacked by her. She, in turn, is attacked by Trunks, but he is held back by Gokuu. After assuring the Z Senshi that she has no intention of hurting the small demi-Saiyajin, Gokuu lets Trunks talk to her.
After a few minutes of them talking, 17 begins to get bored and Naoko grows enraged when trunks calls her more than a few inappropriate names. She attacks him....
