Ryu comes from an old fashion elite group of Ninja who was the original leaders of the Shogun in Japan which is why the Shogun survived for 400 years till the govornment disbanded them for thier unusual use of power and strength. Ryu's clan came back to Vegeta expecting a warmwelcome only to see that planet Vegeta had been destroyed, Ryu's clan split up to find planet Vegeta and some of his clan returned to earth, Ryu later found New Vegeta thanks to the help of Cince. Ryu is now striving to be a very powerful warrior.
