Optional Boss Strategies:
Tip: While you can fight most of the hidden bosses at any time(other then the Zivylin Banes), the bounty fights get harder with the higher your level. The more HP you have, the more they will have. Take Piastol for example. I fought her when I was about level 16 or so. My friend fought her at about level 11 with Fina at 3. My Piastol and Death Hound had about 4,000 HP, while his had about 1,000. So be warned before you decide to level up too much. But the damage they do seems to stay in the same area for a while, so dont worry TOO much there. IMO these bosses are some of the hardest in the game.
Location: On the Little Jack
Boss: Piastol, Death Hound, Fight one
My Average Level: 14-17(which was too low for the battle, I just wanted to see how good I was and do it at a low level. I did it before Pyrynn) I would probably suggest you wait until at least level 22 or so.
Recommended HP:1,700
HP: Piastol:4,000 Death Hound:4,700
Special Attacks: Piastol: Tempest Dace. Death Hound: Support Spells
EXP: Around 1000 each
MagicEXP:6
Items: None
Strategy:
I was stubborn. I wanted to beat Piastol at my low level. I did, but it is much harder then the final boss of the game. It takes a lot of planning ahead. To fight Piastol you must have finished the Valua events and go to the Sailors Guild on Sailors Island. Talk to the Guildmaster to receive a "Black Spot". Then go out of the island, and head directly west. Soon you will see a lone ship, with blue sails. Go up to it, and you will be shown a young woman. She then challenges you. During the battle, Piastol has her Death Hound as support. Do not even try to attack Piastol until you get rid of the Death Hound. The best thing you can do for yourself in this battle is cast Increm on the female characters first, so they wont die from one hit of Tempest Dance. Second, the Death Hound is Blue(I think...), so turn Vyse’s Cutlasses Red or Yellow. Now this has probably taken a few turns to get everyone Incremed and supported. You may have noticed that the Death Hound causes the status effect that stops you from gaining Spirit, well in this battle, that will really screw you. Make sure everyone is at full health, and that more then one person has the ability to revive characters. After a few rounds, go for the Death Hound with the wonderful Crystales box trick, but have Vyse physically attack it, for he will do over 700 damage if he is Incremed and has a color strong against Blue. Just keep your HP up and your status clear, and pray that Piastol’s Eterni spells don’t kill you in one hit. Have Fina and Aika continually heal, and sometimes Fina or Aika (Never both!) can use the Crystales box. Drachma(or your other character) should use another box. When the Hound is out of the way, just focus on staying alive and attack Piastol with the boxes, but not physically, she counters almost all of your attacks. Have Vyse use Cutlass Fury, and just keep laying it onto her. She will eventually fall, leaving you with a hell of a lot of experience and more confusion about her background.
This is the strategy I used against her at a lower level. I need a normal strategy for her as well. And yes, that battle does tend to rely on luck.
Location: On the Little Jack/Delphinus
Boss: Barta and Rupee
My Average Level: 22(Also too low. I did this the second I found it. And I had leveled up a bit beforehand as well. It was pretty hard.) I suggest more like 30
Recommended HP:2000 at the very least
HP: Barta:??????? Rupee:?????(Stupid me forgot to write this down when fighting them....so I need it)
Special Attacks: Barta: Flaming Fists, Legendary Breath. Rupee: Berserk Barta
EXP:5787
MagicEXP:4
Items: None
Strategy:
This battle, like the Piastol battle, I went in way early in the game, at a point where you are not supposed to, but this one relied a lot less on luck, but more on skill for me. To Find them, you have to have finished the Temple of Pyrynn. After that, go to Maramba, and on the dock to the right of the Little Jacks, you will see a huge man. Talk to him to initiate the battle. First, Rupee may look like a little coward, but he is the deadliest part of this fight. He can cast Increm on Barta to make for his normal attacks to do 500 damage normally. Second, he will cast Drilnos on your entire party, so with an Incremed Barta, that can raise the damage to over 600 with just one attack from Barta. Lastly, Rupee has the evil Berserk Barta. On my strongest character defensively, this attack did 5,800 damage to a single character, so make absolutely sure you have rislem before this battle. He can ruin your status by casting Panika. Rupee heals both characters with Sacri as well. Now for Barta. Barta almost always attacks first, and he has 2 special moves aiding him. Legendary Breath, causes the you not to gain Spirit each turn, and causes between 500 and 1000 damage to one person, depending on the Increm/Driln combination you have. His second attack, Flaming Fists, is deadly. I hope you have a high level as it will do anywhere from 1,800 to 2000 damage to a single character. Coming into this battle I totally underestimated these two. But some good preparations to have is making sure you have some Rislem crystals and a box or two, making sure one of your characters knows Rislem, and the others should know Risan. Have Fina learn Lunar Blessing and Lunar Cleansing(This second is very important, I didn’t have it, so I had to heal the hard way.).You may also want Fina to have Lunar Winds to help get rid of Increm. You don’t really need Pirates Wrath, since I noticed Cutlass Fury did the same amount of damage to both Rupee and Barta. On the first turn of battle have all of your characters focus, you need all the Spirit you can get. On the second turn have Fina cast Lunar Blessing, and Increm on Vyse. I suggest going after Rupee first, as he will cause horrible status to you. Rupee is strong against magic, so you have to rely on physical attacks and super moves to kill him. Every turn have Fina use either Lunar Cleansing or Lunar Winds. Or cast Sacrum if you need it, but try and use Aika as a healer. And always try to have Increm on the entire party. If anyone dies, make sure to revive them the next turn, as you don’t know what evil attack Barta will pull off next. Attack Rupee with Cutlass Fury, and strong physical attacks, as even opposing magic colors wont do over 200 damage. Attack Barta with Magic attacks, such as the wonderful Crystales box. When Barta Powers up, be warned as he will be much stronger and use stronger skills. And when Rupee isn’t in a little ball of scaredness, then he is about to cast the instant death Berserk Barta on one character. The key to surviving this battle is being able to revive people, and dispelling the Drilnos.
And a strategy from Lord Umbra:
First off, ALWAYS have Aika use Delta Shield. This nulls Rupee as all he does is cast spells, which Delta Shield blocks. With Rupee unable to touch you, attack Barta with Vyse and Drachma (and when you have SP, use Tackle, also change your moonstones to purple). Meanwhile, have Fina focusing until she can cast Lunar Blessing. After that have her cast her most powerful Purple spells on Barta until he's defeated. Once he falls, you'll be able to take down Rupee (still blocked by Delta Shield) with ease. If at ANY point you need to revive a character, make sure you don't use Delta Shield that turn as it will block allied support spells as well as Rupee's harmful attack spells.
Tip from Peter Jenson:
In the fight with Barta and Rupee, there is a way to never get them to use Berzserk Barta. Just don't hit Rupee, and use Cutlass Fury every single turn (while Increm-ed of course). And always have Delta Shield cast, especially after Barta is KOed--Rupee can't do anything other than cast spells.

Boss: Piastol, Round 2
My Average level: 34
Recommended HP: 3,000
HP: Death Hound: 4000 Piastol:8,700
Special Attacks: Piastol: Tempest Dance, Death Hound: Spells, Healing
Color: Piastol:Blue, Death Hound: Green
EXP: 5,311
MagicEXP: 8
Items:?????
Strategy:
To fight Piastol a second time, you have to have 14 Moonfish. Go to a Sailors Guild, and get a black Spot, and then go west of Sailors island, and do the same thing you did for the first battle. Piastol is definantely easier then she was last time you fought her. her attacks are just as strong, and she is even faster then she was originally. Her Tempest Dance seems to always attack the weakest member of the party (at least with me, she never attacked Vyse with it, other then once.) She wil also use Eterni more this time then in the last battle. To prepare for this battle, I suggest going to Sailors Island and buying a lot of Sacrulen and Sacrum Crystals to heal with as you will need them. If you are doing this battle with Enrique(I did), then have him use his Justice Sheild to lower Tempest Dances effect. Have Aika use Delta Shield, but make sure you have plenty of Sacrum, Sacrulen and Rislem Crystals on hand, as you will not be able to use magic to heal. You might also want to use Glyphs of Might on a few characters, to make them physically stronger. Fina should focus on healing statuses, as Piastol can not petrify a character with a normal physical attack. Make sure you revive your characters immediately, as you never know what can happen. Fina's Lunar Light is always a help, especially when you deal with status effects and damage. I cheated somewhat in this battle. I used an Aura of Valor, and then used Prophecy to kill the Death Hound, and wound her about halfway. I then used Cutlass Fury to kill her the rest of the way. The key to winning this battle is being able to protect yourslef, and being able to revive your characters at will. If you can do both, then this battle wont be nearly as hard as the first. But be warned, if you make one wrong move, then she can get the advantage and obliterate you. Some wrong moves are, not healing petrify, not immediately revivng your characters, and not having Justice Sheild on at all times. If you DO choose to use magic in this battle, focus on keeping your characters Incremed, and alive with Rislem. I played half the battle with it, and half without it, and the second part of the battle was much easier. But I suggest strong Purple, red, and Yellow spells. Most likely Level 3 (the um...Electrum, Crystalum...etc.) and up will do damage. Also, I suggest Cutlass Fury over Pirates Wrath as Piastol can cause you to not gain Spirit, and it may take too long to build up to it, while with Cutlass Fury, you can do it almost every turn.
Location: On the Delphinus
Boss: Gunarm, 3 Frocks
My Average level: 35
Recommended HP: 3,500
HP:Gunarm: ????(But it looks like around 8,000 not positive) Frocks: 800
Special Attacks: Gunarm: Target Search, Rampage, MoonStone Blast, Side Winder, Charge Frocks: Normal Attacks
EXP: 4,224 (But the number can change. Depending on how many Frocks you kill)
MagicEXP: 4
Items: Both: BerZerker Mail
Strategy:
To fight Gunarm, you must have the Delphinus, and go to Sailors Ilse. Look right by the weapon shop, and a man will be there. Talk to him to initiate battle. I personally found this battle harder then the Ixa'ness Demons battle, as more people WILL die in it. Gunarm is the main enemy, but I suggest going for the Frocks first, as it will save you damage in the long run. On the first turn everyone but Enrique should focus. Have Enrique use Justice Sheild each round, for the entire battle, or this will be hell. MoonStone Blast has a high chance foe an instant kill, so be warned that it will usually work. Side Winder attacks all party members. When protected against with Justice sheild, it does 800 damage, and without 1,600. With that damage, and the Frocks which do 600 damage with one attack, you can easily be overwhelmed. The Frocks ALWAYS attack one single character, they do not attack two characters in one round. So if one attacks Enrique, they all will. That is why you go for the Frocks first. Not only that, but once all the Frocks are gone, he may waste a turn reviving one of them, giving you time to heal and revive. Have Aika revive, as she is usually the fastest character. When you can, have a character use Incremus (ASAP), as it will definately lower the damage you take. What also helps in this battle, is to have Fina cast Lunar Blessing. Since it is a long battle, you will get a lot out of it, even if it doesnt heal a whole lot of HP. It usually takes two attacks to kill a Frock, one from Aika, and one from Vyse, so use Fina for healing and support during the early parts of the battle. Once the Frocks are dead, the battle is much easier. For every once in a while, Gunarm will waste a turn casting Charge, which revives 1 Frock. Because it is only one, you can waste it in one turn, leaving him open for attack again. When you see Gunarm use tagret Search, at the end of the next round, he will cast Rampage, which causes around 3,000 damage WITH Increm and Justice Sheild, so make sure everyone is fully healed. For attacks, I suggest you use Cutlass Fury, as you will need more Spirit to heal then you can afford to waste with Pirates Wrath, but again, it is your choice. Cutlass Fury does about 1,800 damage. Keep healed with Sacrum, and kepp your spirit up, and you should be able to win.
Location: On the Delphinus
Boss: Ixa'ness Demons: Tara, Pera, Lira
My Average level: 36
Recommended HP: 3,500
HP: 4,000-5,000 each
Special Attacks: All: Chak Mol
Color: All: Green
EXP: 4,188
MagicEXP: 8
Items: Rislem Crystal, Aura of Valor, Tropica
Strategy:
To fight these laides, you have to have the Delphinus, and have found the Ixa'ness village. Then you go get Tikataka from Horteka, and go back to the Ixa'ness villiage and you will see a ship over the discovery. Talk to the ship, and say that you want to pull up closer. That will start a battle between you and the Three Demons Tara, Pera, and Lira. These three are extremely tehcnical, so this can be hard. While I found Lapen harder, most hate this battle. It WILL take a very long time to finish it, so do not get impatient. Two must haves throughout the entire battle: Justice Sheild, and Delta Sheild. You will not survive long without them. There are two ways to fight this battle, the long way or the short way. I fought the long way as to get to know them better. The short way is to use an Aura of Valor, and the next turn use Prophecy. I hear that will kill them all in one hit(I have not tested this out, and thanks to Pazzle Bi Pyus on the boards for this tidbit.). For the long way(fighting them normally) prepare yourslef for at least a half hour of battle. Every turn you MUST have Aika and Enrique use their sheilds, or you will die. Each of the three chicks has a strangth and a weakness. Tara, the physical attacker, has a weakness for magic, but can not be hurt through normal physical attacks. Pera is the mage/support of the group, and she is weak versus physical attacks. Lira is the most balaned of the three, taking normal damage from both. The beginning of this battle is chaotic. On the first and second turn, Pera will cast Incremus and Quika on her allies, make absolutely sure you use Finas Lunar Winds on the tur after the first support spell(when Pera will be casting the second one) and Fina will go after her, dispelling both spells at once. Lira will attack with normal attacks and Noxus, causing poison, and you cant afford to have any less health then you have nermally, so Lunar Cleansing helps if Aika's Delta Sheild was not in effect(for WHAT reasons was it not in effect other then she is dead. Keep it on at ALL times!). Tara will usually attack exclusively with physical attacks, making her seem to be the least deadly, but that may not be the case, as the next problem is coming up. Each of the Demons cause a status effect with their physical attacks, making this battle more annoying then it should be. Tara causes sleep, Pera causes confuse, and Lira causes you not to gain spirit. Lastly, they have an attack called Chak Mol, which attacks all party members for 1,500+ damage defended against with Increm and Justice Sheild. Plus it causes you not to gain spirit. To solve this problem, you need to get rid of one of the ladies. I suggest you get rid of Lira or Pera, as they are the easiest to damage. I got rid of Lira first. I attacked her with Cutlass Fury about 5 times and she was out of comissin, but during that time, it took me about 10 turns with all the healing and reviving. Once one of them is gone, then go after one of the others, I went for Pera, as she was the mage, and kept confusing my characters. Make sure you have a lot of healing items for this battle, as you wont be able to use magic. Glyph's of Might helped work miracles for me in this battle. Sacrum Crystals are more important the Sacrulen Crystrals as well. The main problems of this battle are the multitude of statuses they inflict on you, and not enough spirit to really go around. And a word of caution. Never think you are safe in this battle as you will probably be put to sleep or confused, and that will screw you over. This battle will really test your patience for this game. If you need more help(I hear a lot of people have trouble with this battle) you can Email me, and I will directly answer your questions.
Strategy From Peter Jenson:
Don't use Delta Shield and rotate spells from Purple to Yellow to Blue in any order. Delta Shield will usually invoke Chaka Mol because they can't use their "influencing" spells (Driln, Noxus, etc.). Use Lunar Cleansing a lot too.
Location: Abandoned Skies North of Crescent Isle
Boss: Obisbo
My Average Level: 38
Recommended HP: 36,000-44,000 with the Delphinus
HP:40,000-50,000
Special Attacks: Squid Ink
EXP: 2,871
MagicEXP: 0
Items: Alloy Deck, Crystal ball
Strategy:
Now this is a cool looking boss. Obisbo is a giant squid with six tenticals, and a main tail. His main attack is Squid Ink, whick does from 2,500-3,500 depending on the turn, and depending if you are Incremed or not. To fight Obisbo, you have to head into the area north of Crescent Isle, and into the sky rift, where the sky seems to be red. Continue heading north and you will eventually encounter him. Obisbo attacks twice per round, but the damage shouldnt do too much harm to you, as with the Delphinus you are very strong. On the first turn cast Increm to strengthen your attacks. Use your secondary cannons and main cannons to damage him, but try and save some spirit. Your secondary cannons alone should do 4,500 per hit, and if they were upgraded in Nasar, then they should be able to hit four times a round. Just attack him with your normal strategy, as his evasion is not very high. After 15,000 damage or so, Obisbo will loose a tentical. At around 21,000 he will loose a second one. About every 5 thousand damage or so you do to him, then he will loose another. On the fourth turn, you have the choice to either get behind Obisbo or to Maintain your present course, choose to maintain your course, and you will be able to use the MoonStone Cannon, which shouls do from 25,000 damage and up. If it does not kill him, then a few more attacks will.

Boss: Alania
My Average Level: 37
Recommended HP: 36,000 + with the Delphinus
HP: 52,000
Special Attacks: Spiral, Shaggy
EXP: 3,537
MagicEXP: 3
Items: Air Purifier, Goddess Figure
Strategy:
Alinia will be harder to beat then Obisbo was, as he/she has much higher evasion rates. His Spiral attack, which is his most frequent attack, causes from 7,000 damage up, no matter the turn, or Increm. His less frequent attack, which you may never see, is called Shaggy, and only does about 2,500 damage. Alania attacks twice per round. Attack with whatever atacks you want, but be prepeared to miss a lot. I suggest secondary cannons and main cannons, as torpedoes miss too often, even with Tikataka. Secondary cannons do about 4,500(I had Valuan ones) and Torpedoes do aboiut the same, so it is worth it to use the secondary ones. Cast Increm so that every hit counts. On the second round you will be given a choice, either to attack from the front, or to swing around back. Choose to swing around back for the maximum effect. Use the MoonStone Cannon, and it should do about 38,000 damage. If he is still alive after that, then it will look like he is running away on the next turn. Continue a barrage of attacks, and he should fall rather quickly. If you get below 14,000 HP, heal with Sacrulen on the beginning of a turn. If anyone knows what happens after this(he starts running away), please share, as I was able to beat him before this on ALL the times I played it on the DC and this.

Boss: Roc
My Average Level: 52
Recommended HP: 46,000+ with the Delphinus
HP: 45,000
Special Attacks: Grab, Blast Voice
EXP: 3,396
MagicEXP: 0
Strategy:
Roc is one huge bird. He doe not have the highest HP, or even very good defense, making him rather easy to kill quicly. But he does have rather high evade, so he will dodge often. A normal Torpedo does about 10,000 damage to him. And Subcannons do about 5,000-10,000 depending on what color of turn you hit Roc on. This battle should be rather fast if the Delphinus is completely upgraded. Increm, focus, and what you do normally on an offensive, and he should go down fast. Grab does 2,000 or so damage, and Blast Voice abut 1,700.

Boss: Piastol 3, Death Hound
My Average level: 45
Recommended HP: 2,800
HP: Death Hound: 8,000, Piastol 12,000
Special Attacks: Piastol: Deluge, Tempest Dance, Death Hound: Spells
Color: Piastol: Blue, Death Hound: Green
EXP: 8,250
MagicEXP: 10
Items: None
Strategy:
There is good news and bad news coming into this battle. The good news is that Piastol does not seem to use Eterni as much anymore. The bad news is that Piastol does a lot more damage with her physical attacks and she has a brand new attack called Deluge. The best thing to do in this battle is to have Enrique use Justice Sheild on every turn to help reduce Tempest Dance's and Deluges Damage. IMO, Deluge is far more of a threat as it does about 1,000 damage to everyone WITH Justice Sheild. Tempest Dance does 1,300 or so to one person with it. Also, status effects seem to be running amock in this battle. Almost every normal physical attack Piastol does, your charcater will be petrified. If all your characters are petrified, it is Game Over, so careful. Fina will be on constant status healing duty in this battle, so she may not get too much action. Use Lunar Cleansing and Lunar Light. I suggest using Lunar Light after she hits you with Deluge, and your characters are effected with a status, as it will be more worth it then. Kill Death Hound first, as he can make you not gain Spirit, and that is very annoying. He also still has his job of healing Piastol, making for a longer battle if you dont kill him first. One big change from this battles and the previous battles is that you have a LOT more control over this one. You will probably be able to not take too much damage if you keep Enrique alive. She does more damage, but you also have more HP, and your HP increase will be greater then the higher damage, making Tempest Dance not as much of something to worry about. Though if she does Deluge and then Tempest Dance, you could be hurt pretty bad, so try and keep your HP over 2,000. To stop her Wevlum, you may want to cast Delta Sheild, as you should have enough magic items to take care of business. I truly love those Glyph's of Might. Use the same tactics as before and she should go down quickly.

Boss: Giant Looper
My Average level: 47
Recommended HP: 46,000+ With the Delphinus
HP: 21,000
Special Attacks: Looper Ring
EXP: 7,149
MagicEXP: 0
Items: Thermal Grease, Captains Stripe, Hex Shell
Strategy:
You have to kill Giant Looper in one round, orelse he, like all the other Loopers in the game, will save their cowardly hides and run. I suggest you do not start attacking the Giant Looper until the third round, as that is when you can use the MoonStone Cannon, and that will almost kill him in one hit, depending if you have Increm on or not. The Giant Loopers main attack, the Looper Ring, does 6,000+ damage. Giant Looper is also much faster then you, so he will almost always attack first. He attacks once a round. And on some turns he is invulnerable, as he is changing rings. I suggest waiting to cast Increm on yourself(if you are going to at all) until the second round, so you will be Incremed on the main round you will attack on. On the third round, use the MoonStone Cannon and it should do about 20,000 damage, now you need to attack with everything you have, to make sure you kill him this round. I suggest Secondary Cannons, Torpedoes, and Main cannons. Try to attack on all for turns on the third round. Like all Loopers, he has high evasion, so you need all the attacks you can get off at him.
