Boss Strategies:

Location: Valuan Cruiser:
Boss: Antonio
My Average Level: 5
Recommended HP: 500
HP: 575
Special Attacks: Thunder of Fury
EXP:18
MagicEXP:2
Item: Moonberry

Strategy:
Antonio is fierce looking, and a plausible challenge if your level is not high enough, or you have not built up your magic. This battle is defiantly harder in the GC version. Have Vyse and Aika focus for the first round. Then cast Red magic Increm on Vyse with either character. Gave the second character focus or heal if one of them got hit with Thunder of Fury on the first turn. I have seen Thunder of Fury do 300 damage to a low level party, so keep yourselves healed at all times. After the Increm, have Vyse release Cutlass Fury, when you have enough spirit. Always have Aika focus unless the party needs healing. Having her attack wont do too much good. When Vyse is waiting to do Cutlass Fury again, have him attack normally, and Antonio should go down.

Location: Shrine Island
Boss: The Sentinel
My Average Level: 7-9
Recommended HP: 700
HP: 1,200
Special Attacks: Search, Blaster
EXP: 117
MagicEXP:2
Item: Moonberry

Strategy:
The Sentinel will take a long time to wear down. He has a lot of HP for this point of the game. The easiest way for me was to use your newly acquired Purple Moon Stone and level up with Vyse equipped with the Purple on his weapon. At least until you get the Crystali (If you are diehard, like me, you can go for the second attack spell). Once you have that, and Aika has some healing spells(or should) you are ready to battle him the easy way. When you first encounter him, you should have enough Spirit to use Crystali at least once on the first turn. If you only decide to do it once (or don’t have it on more then one character) then focus with the second character. It should do from 100 to 200 points of damage with each casting. With your second person focusing, you should gain SP fast. Cast Increm on Vyse with Aika ASAP. When the boss uses Search (With the red beams of light) then he is ready to use his ultimate attack. Be warned of this, since it takes 2 turns to power up, it is extremely powerful. Make sure your HP are greater then 300 and maybe even cast Increm on Aika just in case, and be ready to heal. Also note with this boss, you have a big advantage. If your level is high enough then he will always be the last to attack, making it easy to heal. For an alternate method without the purple magic, you can cast Increm (Its all about the Increm baby!) On Vyse and have him use Cutlass Fury. Though IMO this method takes longer as your Spirit isn’t that high, and takes longer to regenerate.

Location: Skies Over Nasar
Boss: Ship Battle with Baltor
My Average level: 10-12
Recommended HP: 10,000 With the Little Jack
HP:10,000
Special Attacks: None
EXP:137
MagicEXP: None
Item: Bomb, Captain Stripe

Strategy:
This is your first ship battle. Even so, don’t expect it to be too easy. I went into it thinking it would be, and I realized it was much tougher then the Dreamcast version. A ship battle is basically a strategy version of a normal battle. You have control of 3 attacks during this battle, each with one of your characters. You may notice certain colored boxes on the screen. They are Red, Green, and Yellow, and some of them have a C! On them. Green means you have an advantage with your attack, C! Means you have a huge advantage over your opponent in the attack, yellow means your opponent has a small advantage, and red means you are at a HUGE disadvantage. It is a wise move to defend on red turns, as enemies will take their advantage to obliterate you. I hope you have the spells Increm and at least Sacri by now. Cast Increm ASAP to lighten damage and to strengthen your attacks. Always keep your HP over 5000 in this battle. The main thing to do in this battle is attack when you are in the green or the C! zone with your Standard Cannon or Main Cannons. Again, make sure to heal if you have less the 5000 or 6000 HP, for you never know how much damage you might take the next turn. TIP: When you finish this battle you get a Captains Stripe item. Use it on the Little Jack to increase it's HP by 1,000. Very useful.

Location: Valua Catacombs
Boss :Bleigock
My Average Level: 14-16
Recommended HP: 1000
HP: 4,800
Special Attacks: Vile Breath(poison all allies)
EXP:433
MagicEXP:2
Item: Vidal Seed

Strategy:
Bleigock can be an evil boss if you don’t come prepared with many, many curia crystals. He can kill you just by outlasting you with his high HP. The main threat with him is that he can poison you, as well as do damage with attacks to all party members. Cure the poison on the first turn, if you don’t, the battle will become more difficult as it goes on. Because of his high HP you want to be as healthy as possible the entire fight. The best way to fight this boss I found was by Crystales boxes. They do 400-600 damage with each use, and can be used multiple times. Buy them from the Mystery Merchant on Sailors Island at the inn. If you don’t find him the first time, exit Sailors Island and keep going back in until you do. Make sure you have at least 4 or 5 of them, the come on very handy during the next few bosses of the game. With these, and a good healing setup you don’t need too many attacks. But if you want to, you can cast Increm on Vyse and Drachma and make them do their super moves. And always keep yourself over 400 HP.

Location: Valua Colussium
Boss: Executioner and 2 Wardens
My Average Level: 14-16
Recommended HP: 1200(At least)
HP: Executioner:1,800 Wardens:???(I need this)
Special Attacks: Executioner: Tackle. Wardens: Support Spells
EXP:238(not positive here)
MagicEXP:2
Items: Electri Box, Sacres Crystals(random amount, I got 8 one time and 4 another)

Strategy:
This boss is a HUGE damage dealer. The Executioner alone can do 1000 damage with his Tackle attack.. But what makes matters worse is the fact that the two Spell wardens support him with spells like Driln and Increm. If your character is hit with Driln, and the Executioner is boosted with Increm, then I have seen the damage rise to over 1500. The first priority is to get rid of the Spell Wardens. I hope you have those Crystales boxes from the Mystery Merchant still, you will need them. One attack from one box will bring one(I started with the right one) of the Wardens’ HP to a point where you can kill then with a normal attack. The bad thing about this is that most of the time your characters are slower then the Wardens and they get their magic off before you get your attacks off. But make sure you use one box per warden and the third person attack one of the dying Wardens. On the next turn, have Vyse (he is pretty fast) attack the second dying Warden and have Aika cast Increm on herself, since she has the lowest HP. If you have enough Spirit you may want to cast it on Vyse as well, especially if the Wardens got their Increm off. After that you have to hope a bit. Now you hope. It depends on what attacks the Executioner got off on you during that last turn(or if you didn’t destroy the Wardens). If the Executioner attacked normally, heal that character and all your others! Take advantage of the break he has given you. If you are healed to over 1000 hp then use the rest of the characters turns to use Crystales boxes(or if you want Vyse to attack an Incremed Cutlass Fury.) The key to this battle is getting rid of the Wardens and keeping yourself healed at all times. This can be a toughie.

Location: Skies Inside the Gates of Valua
Boss: Valuan Cruiser
My Average Level:15-17
Recommended HP: 10,000 with the Little Jack
HP:20,000
Special Attacks: Cannons
EXP:231
MagicEXP: None
Item: Repair Kit

Strategy:
You just have to survive here. Though you do have to do about 5,000 damage to the cruiser. Your first step in this battle is the Increm (I love this spell). Then you need to focus with all of your character the entire turn. Heal the next turn if you are below 6,000 HP(always play it safe in ship battles, especially upcoming ones). This next turn attack as you can, but make sure your Spirit doesn’t drop below 9 or so, you are going to need it. In the next few rounds, there will be a cinema scene. After that, you will see a little Harpoon on the little blocks that usually hold the colors. If you have 15 Spirit at this point you can go to the bottom of the choices list and choose Special. This attack, the Harpoon Cannon, once released can do upward 15,000 damage! But you don’t know the exact amount of damage it will do, that is why you have to damage the Cruiser before using the cannon.

Location: Temple of Pyrynn
Boss: Rokwyrm
My Average Level:18
Recommended HP: 1000
HP:4,200
Special Attacks: Magma Breath(Stone), Volcano Blast
Color: Red
EXP:1,021
MagicEXP:4
Item: Rislem Box

Strategy:
The first thing you need to do going into this battle is make sure you have Fina at least at level 13 with her first super move(Lunar Blessing) learned. The easiest way to beat this boss is to use those wonderful Crystales boxes. They do at least 550 damage each time, since they are exploiting his weakness. Just make sure on your second turn you have 12 Spirit. On the second turn, cast Fina’s Lunar Blessing to help you recover faster. Also, Fina can do about 700 damage with a Crystales from her normally if her level is high enough.(Normally the boxes do more damage then the normal spells.) Also, if Vyse has a purple cutlass, then he will be extremely useful for damage dealing. When the battle reaches the second turn and Fina has cast Lunar Blessing you may have figured why this boss is evil: He can petrify your characters. So have Curia crystals on hand. Again, if Vyse has a purple weapon, then he can do quite a bit of damage to the Rokwyrm. First cast Increm on him and then have him use Cutlass Fury or even Pirates Wrath if you have it(I did). I prefer just obliterating the boss with Crystales boxes though. Remember, if your entire party gets petrified, then it is game over, so be careful. Other then petrification, Rokwyrm can do a range attack that does over 500 damage. Since when you go into this battle, your party is in a triangle shape, the Rokwyrm is forced to attack either Vyse, or Aika and Fina. To avoid being obliterated by this attack, make sure you only have Vyse attack directly, as to not change your characters positions too much. But if you do that, and keep everyone out of stoned status, this battle isn’t that bad. Also, before this battle, you may want to get Aika a new and awesome weapon. When you fight those death heads(I am not sure of the name, they look like humans with huge bugs on their heads) you will randomly get a weapon. It sometimes takes a long time to get it, but once you do, it will be worth the wait.

Location: Skies Above the Temple of Pyrynn
Boss: Recumen
My Average Level:18-19
Recommended HP: 10,000 with the Little Jack
HP :Unlimited
Special Attacks: Red Ray
EXP: 0
MagicEXP:0
Items: None

Strategy:
Recumen, the Red Gigas is invincible, so you cant win this battle. But that doesn’t mean you can just go and heal the battle away. You will notice throughout the entire battle colored panels(if anyone knows the name of them tell me!) once a turn or so, there will a red panel. You need to focus all of your attacks at this time. Have a sub cannon attack on the turn before the Red box, and use a main or standard cannon on the exact turn of that red box. That should give you 2 attacks on that box. You need those. If you hit him on that turn, no matter the little amount of damage, you will knock him off balance and he will miss you with his red ray. Repeat this for a few turns. It will take a while, as the turns are set. Soon, you will be asked to attack the heads or the legs, choose the heads. Do the same thing you did before(I got through this battle unscathed, so can you!). Soon, in one or two turns, you will be shown another cut scene, choose to leave the battle. After this, you will see another choice, choose to Attack Belleza’s ship. That leads to the next battle.

Location: Skies Above the Temple of Pyrynn
Boss: Belleza, and the Lynx
My Average Level: 18-19
Recommended HP:10,000 with the Little Jack
HP:25,000
Special Attacks: Lynx cannons and Torpedoes. Magic Cannons.
EXP:881
MagicEXP:2
Items: Captains Stripe, Magic Cannon, 3-Inch-Blaster

Strategy:
Be warned. Belleza can kill you in one turn, she is deadly. The main thing you need to do is keep Increm (It is vital! You MUST have it!) On at all times. I saw Belleza do 7800 damage on the third turn after Increm wore off. First things first. In this battle I prefer attacking with 3-Inch-Cannons for 2 blocks, so that was my main offense, just don’t try and go on the offensive too much. After every turn you need to bring yourself up to full HP. If you don’t, you are most likely dead. Second, on the third turn, when Increm wears off is where Belleza does her first extremely dangerous attack. She does it ever time you play this battle. In this turn, you will notice 3 yellow blocks and 1 green block. Don’t let that deceive you. Make absolutely sure on this turn you recast Increm when it wears off(this will be the first time you need to recast it). On this turn, Belleza will do something like this: Lynx torpedoes the first round, Sub-Cannons the second(ant onto the third) and on the third all comes together. The torpedoes will hit and the sub-cannon fires a second time, and she will cast Wevlen. All in all this will do around 7800 damage if you are not Incremed. If you are Incremed it will still do 5800 or so. The main goal of this battle is to keep your HP’s up. Soon after this turn you will be given a choice. Do not try and get Behind Belleza on the first one. On the second one, choose to go full speed ahead to get behind the ship. The third go straight up. (It could be reverse, I am not positive.) But you need to keep her on edge and make sure you do the unexpected. And remember, keep your HP up! I hope you have been able to attack Belleza a little bit, for you will need it. Soon you will be able to use the Harpoon Cannon to wipe off about 17,000 HP. You are almost done if that doesn’t kill her right then. Keep up the pattern of healing and you can do it!

Location: Skies above Ixa‘Taka
Boss: De Loco and the Chameleon
My Average Level: 24
Recommended HP: 10,000 With the Little Jack.
HP: 30,000
Special Attacks: Flamethrower Cannon
EXP:826
MagicEXP:0
Items: Captains Stripe

Strategy:
De Loco’s Chameleon is a sturdy ship, but the defense isn’t as good as it looks. Good preparation for this battle would be, before you go to Horteka, stop by at The Cark Guild(A ship a little to the west of Horteka) and Buy the Torpedo he has on sale there. Also replace any of the main cannons you have with one or two of his cannons. Make sure you equip them. During the battle you want to cast Increm, as always, as soon as possible. You should have all greens on the first turn, as De Loco will continually underestimate you. Launch your torpedoes, and make them hit on the turn with a C!. Focus with at least two characters on the first turn, you need the Spirit. If you used the torpedo, it should do at least 5000 damage on the C! square. The next turn, if you need it (about 4000 and under) heal, and continue the attacks unhindered. Use your torpedoes again, and use your sub-cannons. Make sure they hit on the same turn as the torpedoes. The third turn of the battle is where things get dangerous. De Loco then brings out his baddie: The Flamethrower. You will notice a red square on the last part of the third turn, that is when he will use the thrower, so defend there. Your goal on the third turn is to have a little over 10,000 damage placed on De Loco. Recast Increm on this turn, and on the turn you can, use the Harpoon Cannon. If you have enough damage, that should kill him. But just in case, when you are inputting your commands, make sure you heal after the first Harpoon Cannon attack, for the flamethrower is coming your way. If you got him with the Harpoon Cannon attack, and nothing else, he should still be more then half dead. Finish him off with whatever your main offense is, whether it is magic, or cannons(I prefer the latter).

Location: MoonStone Mountain
Boss: Antonio 2
My Average Level: 28
Reccomended HP:1,000
HP:5,300
Special Attacks: Thunder of Fury
EXP:1,503
Magic EXP:4
Items:Moonberry

Strategy:
Antonio 2 is big and mean, but lucky for you, he is not the fastest boss you will see. He usually attacks after Vyse, Aika, and Fina, but before Drachma, leaving you plenty of time to heal each round if need be. His Thunder of Fury attack does from 500(to Vyse, who had the best armor)to 800 (Fina), and can hit in a rather large line in front of it, like the Yellow spells. His normal attacks do bout 400 damage as well. He is rather strong that way. The first thing I did to my party(for the first 2 rounds) is Increm everyone with two characters, while the other two focused. Then I attacked normally with Drachma, used Crystalum with Aika, Vyse used Cutlass Fury, and Fina focused. The Crystalum did about 600 damage, so it wasnt my best attack. And also, if you have Drachma's tackle, you may want to use that as well. My killing blow to Antonio 2 was on the fifth turn, where i had vyse use Pirates Wrath, which did 4,500 damage, so you may want to go the quivk way, and not use all the support and minor spells, and just attack right from the beginning.

Location: Rixis
Boss: Rik'Talish
My Average Level: 29
Reccomended HP: 1,200
HP: 6,800
Special Attacks: Feather Slash, Cricle of Panic, Ring of Sleep
Color: Green
EXP: 1,830
MagicEXP: 4
Items: Sylph Seed

Strategy:
Rik'Talsih can be a bit annoying at times. He is a master of status spells, and is not afraid to use them. Plus, he is rather fast, making for more attacks on his part. There are a few things you can do to prepare for this battle. One, you can Your characters equipped with items that prevent status effects, or two, have Fina learn(or already know) Lunar Cleansing. Circle of Panic causes confusion on one character, Ring of Sleep causes sleep on all characters. Rik'Talish's big attack is called Feather Slash. It hits party members in a very large line(twice the size of the largest Yellow spell range) for 800 damage. It will most likely hit 3 of your characters no matter what. My strategy. as always, was to Increm Vyse so he can be the big damage dealer. While I would have done it to Drachma as well, I did not want to risk having them confused and attacking my weaker characters. After I Incremed Vyse, I made sure that whenever someone was confused, I used the Curia Crystal, as to help conserve Spirit. Spririt is a bit hard to come by in this battle, as you will be healing a lot of the status effects. After I got my Spirit high enough, I used Cutlass Fury on Rik'Talish. The next few turns (Vyse had been confused) I used Pirates Wrath, and that brought him down to a few hundred HP. If you do not have Pirates Wrath, just work with an Incremed Vyse, and maybe have Drachma use Tackle to finish him off.

From Brandon Gliniak:
Rik'Talish can be the easiest boss battle in the game because he has one fatal weakness: petrify. All you need to do is have Fina use Lunar Glyph to keep him in a perpetually petrified state, and take your time to whittle down his health. He will be petrified almost 100% of the time, making for a very easy battle. This tactic is admittedly cheap, but it is effective nonetheless.

Location: Skies Above Ixa'Taka
Boss: De Loco and the Chameleon
My Average Level: 30
Recommended HP:10,000 With the Little Jack
HP:30,000
Special Attacks:Test Cannon
EXP:1,043
MagicEXP:4
Items: Hunter Torpedo

Strategy:
The Chameleon is harder this time around, as you cant kill him before he does his Test Cannon. His Torpedoes alone can do 6,000 damage if you are not Incremed. His other main attack Handgun, does about 2,000. So keep healed at all times. De Loco is not as hard as Belleza was, because he focuses more. It will be hard to do much damage to the Chameleon without Increm, so make sure it is on if you want to damage him without the Harpoon Cannon. On the Second turn, you will be given a choice. Either back off and repair, or take a risk and attack. Also on this turn, De Loco will begin charging his Test Cannon to use at the end of each turn. The test Cannon does 2,300 Incremed and defended against. Make absolutely sure you defend on red turns! I originally backed off, as I was at 2,000 HP, but you are supposed to take a risk and attack, so if you dont need healing then go for it. On the Third(or fourth) round you will be able to use the Harpoon Cannon against The Chameleon again. By all means, DO IT! You may have yet to damage him more, but he will most likely be close to dead after and Incremed Harpoon Cannon anyway. Try and keep yourself healed as he gets close to his demise. De Loco will go down, and another boss battle begins without any time to heal, or without any pause.

Location: Skies Above Ixa'Taka
Boss: Grendel
My Average Level: 30
Recommended HP: 10,000 with the Little Jack
HP: Infinite, though this time it does go down
Special Attacks: Boulder Throw, Fist of Grendel
EXP: 1,161
MagicEXP: 4
Items: Captains Stripe, Complete Kit, Grendel Wing

Strategy:
Grendel, the Green Gigas is a tough customer. He usually attacks before you, so I suggest that you keep your HP over 5,000 at all times. I hope you came into the battle rather healthy, as he gtes the first attacks. He also attacks much more frequently then Recumen does, twice to three times a round. Fist of grendel does from 1,700-2,100 damage. Boulder Throw does around 1,500-1,700, so worry more about his fist attack. On the First turn, as always, use Increm. It doesnt matter if you attack him normally here, as you are not set to a damage limit, rather, you have to use the Harpoon Cannon multiple times to kill him. I suggest you focus a lot in this battle as you will need all the Spirit you can get. On the second round of this battle, You will have a choice, to either attack the head, or to attack the legs. Go for the head. Even though it is not needed, if you want to attack, do so with a torpedo, or a subcannon, as they do more damage in the long run. On the turn, if you do well, then you will be able to use the Harpoon Cannon on Grendel for the first time. Do it, as you need to kill him through the Harpoon Cannnon shots. Soon after, you will be given another choice. I chose to keep atacking, over go to repair the ship, so I was able to do the Harpoon Cannon again sooner. After the second shot of the Harpoon Cannon, at the beginning of the next round, Grendel will start acting oddly and clutching his head. Choose at this point to keep attacking, and use another Harpoon Cannon shot to get rid of him once and for all.

Location: North Ocean, in the Little Jack
Boss: Gordo, 3 Mad Chefs
My Average Level: 30
Recommended HP: 1,800
HP: Gordo: 2,000, Mad Chefs:?????
Special Attacks: Gordo: Loqua Spray, Mad Chefs:Support Skills
Color: Gordo: Purple, Mad Chef's: Red
EXP: 486(for Gordo alone)
MagicEXP: 2
Items: Cham, 30 Sky Sardis, 20 Spiked Sunfish

Strategy:
Take out the Mad Chefs first. They are the true evil of this battle. The best way to do this, is during the first turn, have Aika use Lambda Burst, and one of the other characters (Preferably Fina) use a Pyri, or Pyres box. This should get the Chefs down to a killable pint with one physical attack. Attack them normally with Vyse and Drachma(or Fina, if Drachma used the box.) The Mad Chef's attacks do around 300 HP each, and have a chance to cause poison. Meaning if they all attack the same character, their damage can easily rise over 1,200 with poisons effect in one round. So make sure you stay healthy. The Mad Chef's are also prone to casting support spells on each other, as well as unind Driln, and Drilnos against you. If you dont have Lambda Burst, or you just dont want to use it, Incremed physical attacks work just as well against the Chef's. Gordo himself isnt as much of a challenge. If he doesn something that seems worthless on the first turn(Gordo Digests) then he is going to cast Loqua Spray, whic damages a very large range of party members for 600 damage or more. You may have used attacks that hit all enemies, and if you did, then Gordo will die rather fast, as he was already wounded. But if not, Use an Incremed Vyse with Cutlass Fury. No need for Pirates Wrath, as Cutlass Fury will take him down in almost one hit.

Location: Skies Above Valua
Boss: Valuan Gunboat
My Average Level: 31
Recommended HP: 10,000 with the Little Jack
Special Attacks: Cannons
EXP: 306
MagicEXP: 2
Items: Deluxe Kit

Strategy:
You can fight one of these before you enter valua airspace, as well as this required battle over Valua. His normal attacks take about 1,000 damage off, and his subcannons as well. But the thing is, he usually attacks all for turns in a round, making him do more damage. He also uses his subcannons with normal cannons raising the damage. Your first move should be Increm, as you wont be able to damage him well physically without it. You should focus with two characters on the first round, to get your power up. On the second round, use a torpedo on one of the Yellow squares, and make it hit on a green. You should also use Crystalum on him on a Green turn, as he is weak against magic. If you hit with the magic and the torpedo on the green turn, then it should do about 6,500 damage. If you use a main cannon(I had a Type B) on a turn with a C!, then it should do about 4,500. Make sure you heal if your HP if it gets below 6000, as the Gunboat can be fast at times. If you want to, you may want to use Quika to be able to avoid and attack faster. On the beginning of the third turn, you are given a choice. Choose to fight agressively, and you will be able to use the Harpoon Cannon. Use it, and the batte should end. If you dont have enough Spirit, try and use stronger spells, as they will do a lot of damage.

Location: Daccats Isle
Boss: Sinstra and Destra
My Average Level: 32
Recommended HP: 2,200
HP: Both have 4,500
Special Attacks: Sinestra: Explode, Destra: Tundra Blast, Both: Death Waltz
Color: Sinestra: Red, Destra: Purple
EXP: 2,373
MagicEXP: 4
Items: Icyl Seed, Magus Seed

Strategy:
It has been a while since your last boss fight on the ground. You have to come prepared for this battle, or it can go wrong really easily. Both Explode and Tundra Blast do over 500 damage to a large range of party members, and it can be done by each of them in one round, meaning up past 1,200 damage to all party members. I hope you have Sacrum, or at least some Sacrum Crystals, as you will definantly need them. It would be even better for you if you have Lunar Light. They can also combine their powers for a mega 1,200 damage attack to all party members. And even after that, the second boss can attack you, bringing up the damage up to 1,800 or 2,400 if they do the Death Waltz twice in one round. It is important to keep your HP high in this battle, and use defensive spells. I suggest going for Sinstra first, as He seems to be weaker. Change Vyse's weapon color to Purple and focus with everyone on the first round. On the second round I had Vyse use Incremus(or have all your characters Increm themselves). On the third round, Have Vyse use Cutlass Fury, as it will do plenty of damage, so there is no need for Pirates Wrath, which will just waste Spirit in this battle, and you can not afford to loose it all. I had Aika and Fina use strong Purple attack spells on Sinstra, as they did about 600 damage. If Gilder focuses, you can have enough spirit to last a while. I spent the next few turns focusing again, healing when needed, and then I went for Pirates Wrath whitha Red weapon and that killed Destra in one hit. Basically the best way to kill these two is with their opposing elemntal magic, as they are weaker to magic then physical atacks. You have to beat them fast and hard. If you drag this battle out, you can die very easily. Focus your attacks on one of them, and you will be able to finish the second easier. Some people consider this one of the hardest battles in the game, so be warned. NOTE: From here on, you will be doing a lot of focusing in battles, because skill costs are higher. You may need to take longer then my turns to focus, the more Spirit the better.

Location: Grand Fortress Prison
Boss: Vigoro
My Average Level:32
Recommended HP: You only need about 1,500 for this battle
HP: 5,500
Special Attacks: Vigoro's Charms
Color: Red
EXP: 2,101
MagicEXP: 4
Item: Cannnon Room Key

Strategy:
Vigoro basically uses Vigoro's Charm on Aika every turn. It confuses Aika, and she will not attack Vigoro. But that doesnt mean that Vyse and Gilder can not attack with their full force, as they will still be getting Aika's Spirit points. I suggest having them focus on the first turn, and cast Increm on Gilder and Vyse(as Aika will most likely be confused and attack you, giving her more damage to your party). At the time, I had Vyse's weapon on Purple, as that is what I was building up, so he did a bit more damage then normal. Cutlass Fury did 1,800 damage, and Pirates Wrath did 2,600 damage, so doing Cutlass Fury will probably kill Vigoro faster then Pirates Wrath, but it is your choice. Vigoro attacks after Vyse and Gilder, so he isnt fast, and gives you plenty of time to heal. Vigoro's defense is not the best, so it should be over fairly quickly.

Strategy:
When I first fought this boss in the DC version of this game I about killed the game a few times, as he was very difficult at a low level. His Wheel Blast does about 1,500 (with Increm) damage to a large range of characters, and because the Tank is so big, it forces your characters to bunch around it, making there more of a chance multiple people will get hit with it. Try and make sure that you do not have Fina go up and attack him, as she will most likely stay away if you dont, making for less damage. Have all of your characters focus the first round, and then have one character cast Incremus(or Increm with all characters, wgich is much harder and time consuming) and if you want to, have Vyse attack. But since Incremus takes so much Spirit, you may want to focus again. This next round, is where you go on your offensive. Have Vyse use Cutlass Fury, or wait and focus so you can Pirates Wrath, and literally obliterate the Draklor Tank. Having Gilder attack is not a good idea, as he may counter, and his physical attacks do quite a bit of damage. For healing, use Sacres or Sacrum, depending on how many chracters got hit by the attacks. But just make sure you have over 1,800 HP at all times, or you could be in trouble. Pirates Wrath should do around 5,000 damage with a Purple weapon, so only a few more attacks, and the Draklor Tank will fall. This battle may take a while, depending on your HP, and the enemy AI. During my battle where i wrote some things down, he used Wheel blast literally every turn, so mine would take longer then some other peoples. And if you are going to heal with items, have Aika use them as she is the fastest.
