Her father died when she was very young. Leaving her his fedish the Whole Gym Bag after his death. Shortly after his death her mother moved her and her older brother eric into a trailor park in Thomasville, Georgia. after a few years of being there her mother remarried. A very abusive drunk who always like to beat up on children. Whenever he went after Dawn, Eric would find ways of getting inbetween them whenever he could. But Eric was always in one jail or another and whenever he wasn't around her step-father would pick her up, shacking and tarrorizing her. Just before he would be her up. Causing her to be afraid of hights. When she reached 18 and got tired of playing 'hide and seek' she went off to college. Even though all she did there was drink and party and hardly did any studying. After a couple months at school she got a phone call from her step-father telling her that her mother is in a hospital. Bumming a ride from a party buddy she get to thomisville under a days time. Unfortuunately she went straight to the trailor instead of the hospital and her step-father was there itching for a fight and it seemed other things. A few seconds after he attacted her she blacked out. waking up to find herself nakid on the floor covered with blood next to her mauled and scratched up corcass a few feet away from her. Terrified and paniced she steals her fathers car and drivers out of town.
A few days out of town she discovers a Bone Gnawers camp in the middle of the woods when she was trying to find herself a safe place to sleep. after they find out what happened to her the teach her something about herself. They teach her about the Garou, Bone Gnawers and a few rites. The rite of the pizza and the rite of the cardboad Palace. after a few years learning from them she goes off in search of her brother. after a few months she finds a place to stay with a tattoo artist in one of his spare rooms in exchange for help in his shope. she learns everything he knows from working with him. after awhile they end up in getting into a big fight, that dawn has to use her willpower to not shift from rage. After manipulating him into leaving his own house she gets all of his tattooing and pericing equipment and supplies and leaves town.
Running into her brother a couple of days later and stick around the sept in New Bremen and sticks around for a coupld of years. She stuck around even after her brother left town kinda begining to have feelings for a kinfolk there named Devi. after awhile she proved herslef to the sept and she was given promission to become Devi's mate and wife. She also recieved her deed name Ink Job by tattooing her tribe elder with something historical after a fashion. After the child was born they moved to Reno thinking it might be a better enviroment for their child.
