Breeding Rules
These are the rules for requesting a sire or dam from Blue Flame Stables. I highly suggest that you follow these rules or you may ruin this for everyone. If you don't follow the rules, I may have to password-protect this site and allow access only to certain people. This will ruin it for everybody. So please don't go against the grain. It causes extra work for me, which will not make me happy.
1. Absolutely NO BSO(Breeding Stock Only) Breedings! I expect you to have a body for each and every breeding you submit. The only way I will accept these breedings are if you are in the process of buying a body for your horse, having it shipped to you, or if you are looking very hard and think you may be getting a body very soon. If I approve the breeding, you must, and I mean MUST, e-mail me when your body gets to you or when you find a body you are going to purchase.
2. I allow in-breeding, but not too close. I will allow grand-father to grand-daughter, & grand-mother to grand-son breedings and anything more distant than that. But please no brother to sister, daughter to father, or mother to son breedings. I will allow cousins and half-siblings to be bred to each other, though.
3. No more than 5 breedings at one time! Once I get those 5 done, you may send 5 more. But not until then!
4. E-mail breedings are free. They include a WordPad or HTML pedigree, a sire & dam produce record, and a sire & dam show record. Pictures will more than likely be on the document as long as you send them or I have pictures available.
5. Snail mail breedings are not free. For every sire and dam, the cost is 15 cents. Or, if you request two of my parents, it is only 25 cents. You will recieve a printed pedigree with as many details as possible, probaly including years, colors, breeds, & owners/breeders to the third generation, a printed certificate of breeding, decorated and personalized to your horse, with a picture of the sire, dam and foal, with my signature saying that the breeding was approved, sire/dam produce record, sire/dam show record, and a copy of photo show pictures if available. If you want a snail mail breeding and the previously listed features, in the pedigree text area on the breeding form please put "Snail Mail Breeding". I will e-mail you ASAP and then you can send me the pedigree of the sire/dam if you need to.
6. My mares can only have 1 foal per year, unless it's twins which are born on rare occasions. If they are twins, they MUST have the SAME SIRE!!!!! Do not request a foal for a year not open until you e-mail me to see who the sire is. If it is not the same sire as the one for your foal, you may not request that year.
7. My studs are open for unlimited foals. Request any year that he is open. You should not be turned down(unless something unusual comes up.)
