Clerics/Healers Requirements

Clerics are those that perform ceremony's such as weddings, blessings, funerals, and soul transfers.  Anybody can be a cleric, no matter their alignment.

Unlike Clerics, Healers can only heal people.  They usually perform their duties during battle.  Anybody can be a Healer, but must apply just like anything else.

For both Clerics and Healers, when performing duties, the following should be in the log:

- Name - Reg# - Position (i.e. Cleric or Healer) - Date and Time - Dice

Some Info You Should Know
- You must be in a guild registered with Arhcison Inc. or a Freelancer in order to become a cleric or a healer.

- In order to perform a legal rezz, you must have present a cleric, a healer, and the person being revived.

- When a person dies, he/she has 36 hours to rezz, otherwise they are legally dead and can't be rezzed.

- There will be a max allowance of 3 rezzes.

- Your Reg# must be in your profile.

- You must wait 1 hour between failed rezz attempts.

- All rezz logs must be sent to the Director of Clerics for validation with the date and time.

- Healing attempts only require the healer.

- Healers and Clerics may only use 1d when performing services.

Resurrections
The most important duty of a Cleric is most likely the resurrections.  In a rezz, you must state your name, Reg#, time and date.  Along with this, the healer and cleric must state dice/enhancers and the dead person must state dice.  Then the amount of points needed to be rezz would be listed.  First the Priest would roll 2 times using 1d, then the healer.  After than, if either priest or Healer have Rolling enhancers, they may roll again.  Afterwards, the number of hit points is tally and the outcome of the Rezz must be stated.  Below is the Rezz table.

Healers

How To Heal
Healing is really simple.  During a combat or such, the healer just does a healing action and rolls his/her dice.  The amount of points he/she rolled is then stated for the log and subtracted from the damage of the person he/she healed.  The persons damage may not go into the negatives and the least it can go to is 0 no matter what.

For times when somebody needs to get healed outside of a proctored fight...such as a bar room brawl, a Healer must perform a healing attempt.  It must be performed like a Cleric's Rezz Attempt.  First you figure our how many points needed to perform a healing which are the same for Rezz.  Then you must roll your normal forum dice.  You may only roll once.  If the attempt was successful, you must subtract your roll from the Points needed to heal, such as 36 roll and 30 points needed to heal.  The difference would be 6.  If my dice were 4d94, I would get (6x20) 120xp for the healing.

XP Earned For Healing
Earning XP for healing is also quite simple.  You take the number of points you healed and you multiply it according to what your dice are.  Lets say a healer with 4d50 healed a combatant.  That person took off 15 damage from the person he/she healed.  Then the amount of XP they would receive would be 70 time 15, which is 1,050 XP.  Follow the chart below:
