Getting around the library pretty much requires
some skill in guesswork or just plain luck, because most of
the rooms require special passwords that can only be
activated in certain positions. Just because you see a door,
that does not mean it will open, and just because you see a
wall, that does not mean it cannot be gotten through.
The first room you enter as you go through the
front door is the aptly named Main Room. As you walk
around, you may receive a message that something doesn't
look quite right, like this:
This means that where you're standing is a password point.
The notice will always include a clue to the password. In
this example, notice it refers specifically to the third
book on the shelf. That's because the password is "third
book." To use this password, just say it normally. And
instantly you'll be on the other side.
For most portals, the return point is the point
where you come out the other side of the enter point. For
this particular one, though, it's a different point. Walking
around, you'll see another message:
Using a bit of logic, you can deduce that the password is
"taptap shelf." Say it out loud, and immediately you're back
on the other side. This is one of the most basic portals
around here, and the one that leads to probably the most
other secret rooms.
Most passwords are either commands or the names
of the things in front of portals.
Walk around a bit more and you'll find more clues
and more rooms. Enjoy. Pleast try to stay IC. Twinks, etc. can and will be ejected. Serious repeat offenders will be blocked. CENTER>
