. Welcome to Alpha Quest. This is a RPG story line designed to help me in the creative design of a game. It might also later be transformed into a book, or movie, but only time will tell. Anyway, You will need a few things to participate. Number one, you will need America On Line's Instant Messenger. You also will need Internet access. Once your application has been received you will receive a contract in your email. You must agree to the contract to be eligible for participation in the project. You will need to make frequent checks to the schedule page so that you will be aware of meeting times. You will need an E-mail address that I an reach you at so that I can send you the newsletter. You will need to either have a char that goes along with the story line already made up, or you can choose from one of the unclaimed characters on the character page. Make sure you send me your profile. If you have pictures please send as well. If you need an example of what the profile should look like, then visit the character page and check one of them out. The magic situation is tricky in this story. It goes like this. The age that this SL takes place in is a time in which man has rejected God. Whenever a man is offered God, and they push him away, a dark seed is planted in their mind. If they act upon this darkness the darkness grows and eventually consumes them. Thus the creatures of darkness. But if a person is offered god and they accept it, they will be given the ability to use magic. Now under the circumstances, I have chosen that magic is probably not going to be used by anyone except for Kyrin, and the other mages. There is a reason behind this, but I will not explain it to you now. It will ruin the story. ^_^!

1. Galidell – A small town located in to the south of the main land. It is a very remote and small town. It is a place where not many live there for a long period of time, and to see a person’s face there more than once is very odd. It is useful though to travelers. It has all the basic essentials that a traveler would need, and some actually go out of their way to pass through it because it is the first town within miles of anything. One thing it is known for, and that would be its horses. Galidell is known to breed some of the finest horses in the land.
2. Sirenia – This is the island that Kyrin and his Tribe originated from. Not many know about this island, because the group of explorers that went there never spoke of it again after the massacre of its people. It is a small island covered in snow, and it is found not to far north east of the mainland.
3. Laersi – The planet in which this story takes place.
4. The Forest of Freadin – A forest that is lush and covered with wildlife. The forest is found far south of the main land. This is where Kale and Kyrin first were scheduled to meet for the first time.
5. Tiridim – The home of the exploration clan that killed Kyrin’s tribe. This is a very large kingdom. It is based on a democratic system of government, and is highly populated. Known to have some of the most skilled fighters in the world. The main focus of the people of Tiridell is to explore and find new worlds. It’s almost as if that is the only thing they care about.
6. The Sanctuary of Light – This is Kyrin’s destination up to this point. Rumors of this Sanctuary are that people with strange powers live there, and that they don’t take kindly to strangers. That’s these people still worship God, and are obsessed with their religion. These people were to have been said to be survivors of a tribe that was killed by the early inhabitants of Tiridim.
7. Aurorador – A huge kingdom found directly in the center of the main land. In the center is a huge castle. It has a clergy based government and has a king and a queen. People come from miles around to visit, to meet, to sell and to trade. This is one of the most commonly sought after destinations of man during this time. Business is its biggest asset.
8. Pelindos – A simple kingdom that is not to big not to small, but big enough to be called a kingdom. It follows after its big sister Aurorador. Using the same government system and so forth. It has been referred to as the small-scale version of Aurorador.

Thousands of years ago, on the planet of Learsi, the world suffered from a tragedy brought on by man. When man committed sin for the first time, darkness…. Evil was born. When this happened, darkness rose up from the earth like a cloud and consumed the minds of the weak. A great leader became one with the darkness and became the “Warrior of the Darkness.” Chaos spread throughout the land and people lived in fear. People found it hard to see hope, and many fell into the darkness because of this. One man stood against the darkness and defeated the warrior of darkness. He prayed to God for forgiveness for the sins of man. God said to the warrior, “Man will not change, so my forgiveness now would be a waist for those in the future. And the time will come when this will happen again.” God explained to the man that when this day comes there will be only two ways to defeat this darkness. The first way is for a warrior to stand against the darkness and fight, the same as it was done this time. If it were done this way again, the darkness would return. He spoke of another way to seal off the darkness forever. This is the legend that one man, pure from evil and from darkness, would stand up to the Warrior of darkness. That man would be the chosen one. The one to perform the Alpha~Omega. The Alpha~Omega is a way for one man to become directly connected with God. The Alpha~Omega is the only true way to seal the darkness from Learsi for good. All this is a legend, and most don’t believe in it. Most have forgotten about God all together, and have disowned the very thought of it. It’s an unpopular fairy tale that monks and priest speak of. People are uncomfortable with the thought of an all-powerful God is in control of the universe. And so History became myth, Myth became a tall tale, and the legend faded away. This is the path that the world took, for this is the nature of man. Those who believe though can only pray that this time, will be the last, and that they will finally be able to feel safe for the future generations. And so the legend is of the Alpha~Omega.
