Help for Gruntees

Gruntees-by Buurs'Lusk Quattie Nob
Heeeeey Gruntees! Do you ever find yourself asking "When will I be a grunt"? Are you sick and tired of having tribelesses pick on you and not being able to do anything about it? Do you wish you could participate in clompranks/bludranks but can't because your black boots are holding you back? Or maybe you have a certain tribe in mind and you just can't wait to join? If so, then do i ever have a deal for you. For a limited time, i will be offering you two excellent resources for learning how to achieve all your Shadowclan dreams. You might be asking yourself, "What must such an excellent system cost?" 200000 shinies? A million? Well, as a special deal to those of you in need, i am willing to give you access to these great resources for absolutely free! That's right, that's enough shinies to buy nothing with! Why you could bribe 0 nobs and pay off 0 kult-rs for that kind of dough! So, what's the catch you may ask? The catch is that, you have little choice as to whether to take advantage of this deal or not. As of this moment, i am ordering every gruntee that sees this message to go through my advice here and through the second resource. You may choose to comply with them if you please, if not, then prepare to feel the consequences. So, what are these "orc life changing pointers" of which i so highly speak? Well, look at the following two main resources, and you can find out for yourself! Resource I: This Post Here are some excellent pointers that should show all the nobs and bloodleaders out there that you are worthy of a promotion: 1) Don't loot corpses when there are higher ranked orcs around 2) If there are no higher ranked orcs around, you may loot monster corpses. As soon as (that means the second you see) a tribeless or higher name appears on your screen, rush up to them and give them the gold and any other valuables. 3) Do not have items you should not. This includes gold, gems, potions, and scrolls among other things. 4) Keep true to your bloodline. A surefire way to get yourself in trouble is to use weapons of another bloodline or weapons of your bloodline not allowed for your rank. 5) Do not go gray period. You, as a gruntee, have NO excuse for going gray. You're not allowed to steal, you're not allowed to loot corpses, you're not allowed to attack blue humans. If you go gray, you might very well find my lusk in your head, regardless of any pushdugs that might be around. 6) Do not go red. Any and all red gruntees will be booted from the stone. If you go red, that means you have violated rule 5 at least 5 times. This is bad. 7) Do not fight back when you are being punished. If a grunt attacks you, tab out of attack mode and take your punishment. Do not run, do not hide. A gruntee that can take his/her punishment is looked upon much higher than a panzee that runs away. 8) Roleplay. That's what this game is all about. Go out and do quests. Hunt, have fun. Make your character interesting. If you make your character easily identifiable by RP characteristics, it will make you much more noticable to those who can promote you, and thusly make you more likely to get a better rank. 9) GRUNTEES CANNOT USE THE BANK. This also applies to tribeless and even tribed grunts. The only orcs that can use the bank are Mojokas, Nobs, and Mak-rs. Be sure to check out resource II as well. Much of what i have said here is also there, but i felt it needed to be reiterated. Please, don't waste these resources. I spent a good half hour making this post (and many orcs put hours and hours into the SC website) so you can benefit from them. Oh, and finally, HAVE FUN! *grins* Resource II: www.shadowclan.cx |

Some things I would like to add to what Buurs has written already. This is more in the form of general advice, these are not necassarily rules but are good things to follow. 1.Being strong should not and does not get you grunted. For orks skills and stats do not exist. The purpass of killing something is to kill it, not to gain skill. 2.Give up the appearence of power to gain power. Basicly what I meen by this is. Lets say there is a weaker ork at the fort who is a grunt. You should not do whatever you want to do just because he cannot kill you. Gruntees also should not challange higher ranking orks to clomp games. If a gruntee intentionally challanges a grunt to a clomp game that they know is weaker then them, this is not good. If you win a clomp game against a grunt, you shouldnt go around bragging about how you clomped this grunt or that grunt, and how sence you can clomp a grunt you should be a grunt. This will only lead to you gaining enamies. 3.Gruntee life is not fair. Complaining about it will not make it better. 4.Rules are not made to be broken, it is not as if, I didnt get caught so it is ok. If say a gruntee uses the bank, that gruntee violates one of the key things of their roleplaying. So basicly, dont break rules, even if you are not caught you are hurting yourself. 5.Dont swear in game. Orks do not know human profanity. Instead a ork might say something like, "Skah!" or "Pushdug" or "globshakh." 6.Stand out. If you are the same as every other gruntee, no orks will notice you. If you stand out in some way, other orks will take notice, which is a good thing. |
