SESSION 4
After that blood bath, the party decided to rest up a bit and recover some spells. As they rested, a Monk (Agatsu) and a Barbarian/Druid (Caren) were making their way down a different corridor. They had spotted an opening in the earth inside a small grove of trees. Reaching the bottom of the rough stairs, they stopped and admired a small underground river running by. A rope bridge ran from this room to another room on the other side of the river. the druid sent his wolf (Blizit) across the bridge to check it out. Two orcs were filling water barrels on the other side. They were quickly dispatched. The Monk searched the bodies and found a rather large key. The two adventurers noticed a corridor heading slightly up and proceeded.
Meanwhile, the party had finished resting and was on the move again. They scouted out several more corridors and an empty room when they came upon a second room. The elf cautiously moved up to see what was in the room and noticed several orcs standing next to barrels and firing bows at unseen targets farther into the room.
Startling the orcs, the party started to attack the 5 orcs that they saw. As the battle progressed, 5 additional orcs appeared. Arik thought it best to retreat around the corner. The elf had set up some Alchemist fire to cause a temporary wall of flame to hinder pursuit. As he backed up.. he pulled out another bag of Alchemists Fire and poised to throw.
Torch boy, standing back at the junction, noticed light coming up from the corridor that they had yet to explore. He started yelling "Guys... Guys!"
