Lieutenant Commander Skl'ar Hst

He must be equally flexible and demonstrate initiative, agility, depth, synchronization, and improvisation to provide responsive legal services to the CO as well a diplomatic advice on current status of alien species both aligned and non-aligned with the Federation.

The Chief Diplomatic Officer is in charge of the Diplomatic Corps Detachment. He oversees its operation as well as making sure that everything in that department is carried out according to Starfleet Regulations.

While en route to a diplomatic mission on a civilian transport, Palner was killed when the transport struck and was destroyed by a gravitic mine. Skl'ar and Hst were joined in one of the survival pods and consequently became inseparable as help did not arrive before the 93 hour time period elapsed and the host and symbiot become one. Skl'ar Hst was soon dispatched on a secret mission by Starfleet Intelligence to discover a link between the gravitic mine and the Krazzle Empire. While undercover on a Krazzle battlecruiser, Skl'ar was picked up by the USS Victorious, where he became the Marine platoon commander, with the rank of lieutenant. Over the next three years he became the Science Officer, relying on the experience of Dal Ton Hst, the renowned scientist from thirty years previously. Skl'ar now wishes to rejoin the Diplomatic Corps, feeling that too much violence has befallen Federation society since the end of the Dominion War.

Hst was first joined to Mirian Nerew, when she was 21. She subsequently became a freighter pilot and mother of seven. They were joined until her death of natural causes at age 78.

Hst ws next joined to the astrophysicist undergraduate Dal Ton Mari. Dal Ton Hst was responsible for some of the premier research in many areas of Federation science for some thirty years. Dalton was killed by an accident in his lab on Calo Prime.

Palner Sen and Hst where joined and became a very proficient diplomat for the next twenty two years. Palner was only beginning to become one of the best seasoned diplomats of his time when he was killed.

In the last three years Skl'ar Hst has proven his loyalty to his ship and fellow officers. He helped in the rescue and recovery of his parents, 500 other people and the sub-space enclosed campus of New Berkeley. Skl'ar is still discovering what he wants to do with the rest of his life, and believes that the Diplomatic Corps may be the best course at the time. He is enthusiastic, optimistic and makes friends easily. He enjoys his friends' company and is learning several new hobbies as he matures. He has a pet Alvertian Snap Dragon, a semi sentient 5 ft. plant, named Tiger Lilly.
