What is a macro you ask?

Well my definition is that it is a quick way to say allot.

How to install the Macro:

when you open up this zip file open it in the The 4th Coming folder.
DO NOT create another folder, open in T4C main folder.

Making a Macro:

Create a blank text file under your t4c directory, Then open it up in notepad.
for your greeting like *Hello everyone!*
name it something simple.
name the file: hiall
DO NOT use space in between file names.
Then open it up in notepad. Edit it to go like this if you are greeting someone.
**NOTE** for a shout you must include the
: in the text
if you are shouting your greeting type it like this
:Hello Everyone!
To quote words go (or make text white):
:"Hello Everyone!"
To Parenthesize words go (or make text gray):
:{Hello Everyone!}
And so on.

To use Macro in game:

To run the blank file in t4c say this.
!run filename or !run filename.txt or so on.

Note: Do not shout when running the file. Just say it.
So DO NOT "
:!run Ihateyou.txt".

Got it?

to use your greeting type it like this:
!run hiall.txt

the only space should be in between run and file name NONE OTHER THAN THAT!

Be Creative:

Like I made a macro for saying hi to all...
I named the notepad file hiall
so in the game I need to do !run hiall.txt
and it will post what is in the file
I made it like this...

:"H"{i} "A"{l}"l"{!}"!"{!}

it will show up like this in the game

(Main) Sephiroth: Hi All !!!

SIMPLE RIGHT? I hope so!
only do one macro per file don't think you can make 2 out of 1
It will save over your previous file so it is a "NO! NO!"
Have Fun >;+)

So what does some of these abbreviations mean?

To understand My files:

I have abbreviations for my files.
Example: Rusted Long Sword
file name: rls
so to use this you would type: !run rls.txt

ABBREVIATIONS:

Weapons prefixes:

r__  = rusted
p__ = polished
fs__ = fine steel
hm__ = high metal
m__ = mithril
a__  = adamantite
an__  = ancient
sr__  = steel reinforced

Weapons suffixes:

__d  = dirk
__dag  = dagger
__ss  = short sword
__ls  = long sword
__bs  = broad sword
__b  = blade
__bass  = bastard sword
__s  = scimitar
__2hs  = two handed sword
__ha  = hand axe
__ba  = broad axe
__bta  = battle axe

I did not shorten the armour file names except for High Clerist Robe to hcr
and for the levels just use the numbers

in other words to show the experience req. for level 21

type !run 21.txt

if some stats are old you must update it yourself  >;+P
all files are shouts by the way
Have fun for now >;+)
