Voldemort's True Downfall:
A star prediction by the Tower Of Time Guardian, Icicle.

If Voldemort Can Die Then...

Many fans have spent countless hours pondering the Harry Potter books. They ("we" actually, but for now I'll say "they") have reviewed the facts, the assumptions, the questions, the gaps, the wording....

It's pretty safe to say they have thought things through. Now then, as to Voldemort's mortality, it is not an unpopular belief that Voldemort can be killed. Before, most fans were in agreement that Voldemort had done too many immoral to be human enough to die. However, now that he has a new body, things can change.

I think that, if Voldemort can be killed, he will be killed by his own curse. In the Harry Potter books, we have found out that Voldemort's Avada Kedavra Curse bounced off Harry and Lily Potter. That curse hit him and ended his reign of power. Prior to the attempted Potter homicide, Voldemort had done many things to his body in hope of achieving immorality. He was said to be too inhuman to be killed.

If history were to repeat — if Voldemort were to attempt to kill Harry with the Avada Kedavra and have that curse bounce onto him again — Voldemort could be killed. Harry Potter doesn't have his mother to die for him anymore, but there's also the fact that

Mirrors have a tendency to show up in the Harry Potter novels when there is possible danger or definite danger. The best example is in the Chamber of Secrets: Hermione uses a mirror to look around corners as soon as she finds out about the Basilisk.

I think we will see the Mirror of Erised again. Voldemort can be very short-sighted sometimes, it could work. If he happend to be dueling Harry around the mirror, Harry could lead him toward it like he led the Hungarian Horntail away from the eggs in the Goblet of Fire. In fact, it doesn't have to be an elegant mirror, it could be any reflective surface. Rowling could pull it off, you all know she could.
